ArchHalf Man Half Biscuit This should be a classic gaussian distribution curve, where did all the bloody 26 to 35 year olds go??
Starting to come out of the woodwork now. I conjecture they were all out on this piss for the weekend while the middle-aged like me could find nothing better to do than nobbing.

Really? Please don't take this the wrong way but I thought you were in your mid fifties.
I'm 44 and a Branfootian - only moving to the Royal Counry in my teens.
I quite like the idea of going back to the old div III and standing at a lot more games next season. Might give up my Sky subsciption if we go down.

That was 84/85, not 85/86.

Blue Biscuit 52. First game was Dennis Allen's testimonial in the early 70's. First league game was a victory over Torquay Utd a few weeks later. Won 2-1 with a Gordon Cummings volley. I was truly addicted from that moment.

skipper 27 in June.
I remember Elm Park & the horrible triangular crest with the 3 colours which was very 80's. The crest before with the 3 Elms was better, but I don't think I went to any games back then (When did it change?)
I sat quite a lot in the away end in Elm park because my dad would take me to meet his army mates who would follow their team.
I can remember not understanding the etequette & shouting "GET UP YOU FAIREY" to one of out players, I was about 10. Modern 10 year olds a much more savvy im sure.
I saw us maily lose, I remember that much.

Aussie Stu I'm 33, living in Oz. Never been to a Reading game. It's on my list of things to do... would hope it to be an EPL game naturally.
I always have been a Reading fan & always will be. EPL or wherever. Worse thing about our current struggle will be from my side of the world absolutely no chance of seeing any matches or highlights.
My ritual on a Sunday nowadays is waking up & checking the net first thing in the morning & recently it hasn't been a good way to start the day. Been able to see the FA cup games & the wins have been great to watch though I'd happilty trade them for wins in the championship & to just read about them.
Though with us being relegated from the EPL I do get alot more sleep on the weekends

Top post Stu! I love how Reading is taking a strong hold in Australia. I wish there were a few more followers in Los Angeles so I could meet up and watch a game at the pub on occasion.
