i know this one is gonna come back at me like a boomarang shaped brick BUT... am i the only royal around who sees all this new found confidence with caution? baring in mind we've only won ONE game a month... could satursdays game not of been that 1?!?
i cant help but feel that come wednesday morning we're all going to wake up feeling very let down by the night before and calling for sir johns head again!
call me pessimist, call me a man whos watched Reading for far to long. but the worst thing about a relegation battle is the hope a few wins can give you!

I think it will be a 2-0 win. Long to score again and McAnuff to add in a second. Time for revenge against the "Green Army"

The forum and fans have been calling his head since forever. Even during the premiership years. :D

Zammo We're in the bottom three for a reason. The last two games are a false dawn. I expect Plymouth to leave with all three points after 'out battling' us.

1 - 2

Attendence: Booooooo (final whistle)

ive een enough since brian took over to suggest that this team is a totally different prospect than pre xmas under rodgers, and as such it makes those pre xmas games irrelevant.

2-0 to RFC with the Green Army getting naffed off and doing a fair impression of the last mob to grace our shores. With it being a touch darker obviously.

You will if we lose tomorrow night.

Otherwise he'll be as conspicuous as his 65m year old namesake

Thought he was a Spurs fan?

I'm going Reading 1-"The Muff" 0

Early goal followed by 80 minutes of corony pressure similar to the last 15 at Doncaster on Saturday night. Was I the only one who was having palpatations???!!

NO !!

I'm so supersticious when watching games I wouldn't change position, pick up my drink or allow anyone to enter or exit the room in case it changed our luck.

As soon as we got two up I allowed myself a drink and Mrs F to leave the room - result, bloody penalty, red card and she wasn;t allowed back in until the end.

I had something similar watching on Saturday. I was watching in another room on the multiroom while the rest of my family (Welsh) were watching the egg chasing in the lounge. My 5 yr old comes into sit with me and bang, the penalty followed by me having to hop around like I've had my wisdom teeth out!!

The trouble is, the non-Royals half of the family have absolutely no idea what these games mean.

Sit down, don't move, definitely don't leave the room. They keep questioning what difference it's going to make. Have they not heard of the butterfly effectg ?

This is massive.

If we win , I reckon we stay up - firstly we go 8 clear of them, secondly we prob get out of bottom 3 and thirdly 3 wins on the bounce is massive for confidence.

If we draw its much as now

If we lose we're right back in it

SWLR Reading take 3-0 lead.

Final Score 3-4. At long last revenge for 85/86 season.

Revenge for 85/6? I'm still looking for revenge for them pipping us for promotion from 3rd(S) in 52 or thereabouts and leaving a sad boyhood memory.
