Mid Sussex Royal
Ark Royal For Seahawk's benefit, here is Friday's goal. Check out other pictures from that memorable evening on my Picasa album:

Great pictures - interesting season ticket included cup games!

Also interesting Palios was playing for them - isn't that the same guy who was at the FA with Sven?

That season ticket cost me £18!

Where's Sonko outjumping about 12 Southampton players. We outclassed everyone that season.

Putting pedant mode on for a second, "cup games...excepted", which means they are exceptions, which in turn means they had to be paid for. Same rules as today. Pedant mode off.

Back of the Charlton home programme I believe, last day of the regular season 94/95, Simon Osborn in front of a packed Elm Park smashing a volley goalwards, I think iirc the caption was something like "what is it about Ossie, Charlton, and cracking volleys?". Great pic.

The picture of Archie turning away from the camera doing a 'Fjortotft' aeroplane celebration after scoring a hat trick against Swindon in 1995.

My fave picture ever and I can't find it anywhere.

There are some great pictures in this thread. One that will always stand out for me is the Wigan (A) play-off game where everything was orange. I think the picture was in the programme of the return leg and the picture was taken at the front of the stand. Much like the one at Brentford but from a different angle and obviously different colours.

Palios was been a regular player in the Chesham (I think) leagues for years.

M8 of mine played against him when he was 18 and said that depsite Palios never moving more than ten yards in every direction of the centre circle the entire game, he still couldn't get within ten yards of him.

It may not be the most iconic, but that is a great sports photo. Sonks looks about 20 ft in the air!
