Mills and Killi would be my ideal pairing - if we work on the proviso that we are keeping Mills and Ingi doesn't have many seasons left in him. The amount of skills, knowledge and professionalism Killi has is refreshing, from the way he takes the time to chest a ball down and spread it wide to the little nudges that give him an extra yard of space against forwards - would love to see him rub off on Mills and Pearce (who are ultimately our future pairing, no?)

Kissa looked good and confident at the back reading the game well and looked to have plently of time to make the decision and always did the simple thing.

One superb pass in the first half from the middle of the park to the left side which Betrand picked up going onto the bye line and crossing near post where no centre forward made a run to.

Was very impressed with him, his all round gamesmanship was a great asset. Bumping into their strikers to give himself the space to get up, bringing the ball down with his chest and playing some great balls out towards the wings.

If only we had Sigurdsson instead of Howard on the left and a bit more width last night...

I think it'll probably be a case of long-name partnering Brynjar Gunnarsson in central midfield at Karacan's expense unfortunately.

Been a big fan of Ingi in the past, but this season he has been consistently rubbish.

So many times last night he missed headers, a couple he completely miss timed letting there forwards through. He also missed two clear goals and falled to find a blue and white shirt with any passes or headers clear.

Not sure about last nights goal, but a number of goals this season have been down to him not clearing his lines, Ipswich being one example when a poor header went straight to Stead who buried it.

I hope Brian has the balls to drop him and play the best two centre backs - Mills and Kish.

First half I thought he was composed, may defending look easy and was a class above.

Second half, I though he was tentaive, cocky and frankly awful.

Give me the first half Zurab and I'll play him every week, the second half and I'll stick to the Mills/Ingi partnership.

i thought that was move of the match, all it needed was church to put a toe on it.. was a fantastic inch perfect pass from zurab..while he was under pressure no less!

I'm not convinced by Karacan, not convinced at all. And Cisse seems out of favour so I see no reason why we shouldn't put Zurab in midfield.

I wouldn't go as far as to say awful, but he did seem to tail off a bit, and much of that seemed to be because he was trying to be a bit too clever. They did bring on the number 33 (Cooper??) who was a hell of a unit and I think that coupled with a lack of match sharpness and fitness meant he was trying every trick in the book to get the job done.

Give him a couple of games and I think he'd be solid as a rock and I'd be very tempted to play him and Mills together.

I thought he did OK, nothing special like people are raving on about. He just did his job!. A bad mistake when he did play their right winger through in the 2nd half after a sloppy pass, and yes I agree he did seem to get a little cocky and maybe tired in the last 25 mins. Would have Mills anyday, as hes more of a presence at the back and wins his headers. All about opinions though isnt it!
