Academy players join Bognor Regis Town FC

We have allowed two of our young prospects in Jacob Walcott and Daniel Joyce to join the Ryman Prem outfit on work experience. I live in the area and have a mate who plays for them so I often go watch their home games as I am currently out injured myself and get in for free. Anyway, yesterday I turned up to watch Bognor play Tonbridge and noticed there were a few new guys that i didn't recognise, later to discover after speaking to a guy in a Reading tracksuit who they actually were. I was extremely impressed by Walcott as were the rest of the crowd as he collected MOTM after having notched the first in a 3-1 win and being a constant menace to the Tonbridge defence. Playing on the right wing, he seemed to be their man outlet as he was extremley comfortable on the ball and able to beat his man with ease displaying electric pace and impressive skills. I was also impressed by his attitude coming from a pro club, willing to put himself about and take a number of knocks in doing so but just shook them off and carried on battling away. The other lad Joyce, less to right home about but he put in a steady performance in centre midfield with a good engine. I hope at least a few of you appriciate my post as I believe we have very promising prospect in Jacob Walcott on our books!

Used to play footie with Jacob, he was lightninggggggggggg fast, a bit like his cousin Theo, funnily enough.

Played with Jacob at the Academy a few years back and you could always see he had that summin'. Very quick, and nippy, and knows where the goal is.
