"That goal" picture is the most "iconic" for RFC supporters whether you were there or not.

However the most globally well known picture and therefore "iconic" as it's probably the picture when most people will have become familiar with RFC is...

Therefore Stephen Hunt did the most to raise RFC's profile globally

The picture of Jamie Cureton showing his delight after scoring a fantastic dipping goal against Burnley is right up there with a lot of iconic pictures I remember.

Crowthorne Royal I was on holiday in Florida for both the Leicester A game and the H game versus Derby. So, although I loved the fact that we went up to The Premiership I almost have more affection for the leap in to Div 1 with the mercurial Curo scoring that terrific goal. I love the pic where he's lobbed the ball and Ingi is struggling to keep the ball out.....A magical moment and such a relief after 33 draws or whatever it was prior to the Brentford A game.

Someone will indulge me with the picture I'm sure.

I'm with CR on this one. That was such a great moment for me at the time, mainly because I worked 100yds from Griffin Park, surrounded by Brentford fans.

I've got the picture at home somewhere but someone put it up please!

Hampshire Royal The photo of Sonko heading the ball at Southampton in the pouring rain just sums up THAT season for me.

This is one that does it for me - it says "oxf*rd off you big time Charlies, we're oxf*rd Reading FC and we're coming to get you!"

The Friday goal v Tranmere comes a very close second, saying "oxf*rd this for a lark, we're Reading FC and we're pissing all over you!"

One of the best, apart from a number alreay posted, was the photo of Kevin Bremner's diving header at Newport County to put us 2-0 and clinch our 12th straight win from the start of the season. Can't find a copy anywhere on line but I do believe there may be an image in Biscuits and Royals. Brilliant photo!

Wasn't there a great photo in the EP of Linden Jones scoring in "that other" match

If you were there you know exactly which match I mean

There was a fantastic picture on the back page of the sun years ago.
Dylan Kerr had scored in our 4-0 win at Blackpool . He was held aloft by Adi Williams and others, All big smiles. MAGIC!
I would love to see it again.

Methinks that in reality, Robin's thinking was probably thus:

"I am going to get complete oxf*rd at the Spread after this and shag the arse off that blonde I met in there before the game. Said she'd still be there. Anyway..., oh, fu ck, who passed that to me? Stuckey, you cu nt. Bollocks, I'll just twat it one..."

Can anyone post the pic of Bikey (I think) booting Crouch (I think) square in the nuts?

Not the most iconic by any means, but I can't find it and it makes me LOL.

I have a great pic of Gilksey celebrating after scoring at Wembley. Him with his arm aloft rising above a group of team mates.

First time we'd done anything of note (OK, the Simond was Micky Mouse and we had won a few league titles) but still for me it was a glimpse of what the future might hold and I love that picture....)
