1871 Royal I also base the quality of a ground on the amount of leg room available.

certainly rules out the crisp bowl of fester.. spend two hours with your knees up your nose in that place!!

Quite liked Brisbane Road for some reason and - despite NEVER winning there - The Abbey Stadium.

It's Ashton gate for me too...
I hate these new shiny plastic grounds (just like ours). Going to places like the Ricoh just isn't something that's football...

Shiny grounds with good facilities and visibility are fine when you're thrashing people every week, but the pits when you're doing badly.

Villa Park, Craven Cottage, Upton Park and Highbury. Highfield road wasn't bad either

Ashton Gate is the best of the limited amount I've seen so far.

Agree with that, perhaps the ground itself wasn't amazing but always a good day out in Cov.

Loftus road is unfortunately probably my most visited. You know things are bad when a petite 5'6'' woman is forced to sit on the top of the folded up seat because of the lack of leg room

Fratton Park is probably a close second. Both total shite holes

Most visited stadium for me is Selhurst Park, partly due to Palace/Wimbledon ground sharing all those years ago!

My 5 favourite away days:
1. Nottingham Forest
2. Blackburn Rovers
2. Man city
3. Peterborough utnited
4. Luton

Selhurst park always seems to be a good day/night out in my experience. And this weeks game was better than the Johnson/Harper draw for atmosphere.

Villa away was my first real experience of a 30k plus crowd for a Reading game (Simod cup, Playoffs and England games aside). When they equalised after Doyles opener, the noise the villa fans generated was incredible - and despite the result, I thought we played well enough and it sort of settled my nerves about how well we'd do in the Prem so that game stands out for me.

My favourite ground was Highbury - although it was filled by silent telly clapping yahoos and I had to sit in with their lot when I went.

Special mentions must go to the City of Manchester Stadium (the leroy lita show), and Old Trafford
