How about that picture of McGhee appearing to be cacking his pants after we bet Wolves in injo time. It was class.

Absolute classic and still my all time fav RFC related shot. There was another excellent shot of Archie firing in one of the goals as well in the same article.

I've got it upstairs but there's a classic shot of me queuing in Smiths at the start of the 96/97 season, for a signed copy of the year-book from Archie and our Polish international. I was trying to hide my face as I'd bunked out of work to get a copy. I'll have to dig it out...

No suprise that Madejski was soaking up the applause in the background, hasn't came out the tunnel to clap the fans for a long time now.

Soaking up the applause? Looks like he's applauding the fans in a gesture of thanks to me.

Shame he hasn't come out recently after getting a few boos. Still, I'm sure if, in pursuit of what was only ever personal glory after all, he'd chucked a load more of his personal fortune into the club, potentially bankrupting it in the process, the crowd would have been more welcoming of his presence on the pitch these days.

Lets not turn this thread into a debate about Madejski. Great pic of curo and saw him playing for shrewsbury the other night, has barely changed. I miss those days a lot, part of growing up and also the affiliation we had with the players were happy times, even if in division two.

Smoking Kills Dancing Doe I can't believe people don't know that story.

TBF Seahawk is a yank across the pond and a relative newcomer to the ranks. I've been around 15 years and I only heard it for the first time a few years ago.

Both of you have to read "The greatest footballer you never saw" (see pic of cover in previous post), It should be made compulsary for all Reading fans.

not since some twats decided that booing him, and accusing him of stealing money from the club, would be a good idea

I was behind that goal when Senior scored against the Arse - remember it like it was yesterday. What game is the Quinn photo from?

Team are wearing our away kit from 91/92 which must really narrow it down.

Bournemouth (H) in 93/94 - didn't Pulis sell Quinn as £50k was far too good to turn down for a 32 year old???

27th November 1993. 3-0 v Bournemouth. Quinn's second was a first time lob over the keeper from miles out. Mick Gooding scored the other.

I love this picture. Quinny just doing his usual business and leaving a trail of devastation in his wake.

Players in the Arse pic: Senior, Beavon, Les Taylor (behind Beavon), Adams, Lukic, Bremner, Anderson.
