SpaceCruiserThat Friday Feelingi know the stewards very well who "guard" the away team coach, reading players were telling them to f-off when they came out after the game, the stewards told them to get on the coach and leave but mr mcdermott and his coaches had to be pushed onto the coach after they kept shouting from top of the stairs of the coach. i dont know if any stewards took jackets off but sounds like the reading players and offcials were total 'kers!

Royal Lady How could they be "pushed onto the coach" if they were already "at the top of the stairs of the coach shouting". Like anyone at WBA is going to give a true account of what happened to put them in a bad light. @rseholes.

What legal rights do the stewards have to board a team coach and push them further along it then? And I'll be as petty as I like. Don't be so petty.
I would guess they mean pushed down the coach to get into their seats and stop shouting from the top of the stairs.
You of all people should accept that not everything people will write makes 100% sense and you need to read between the lines and use a bit of common sense to piece things together at times.

Sorry, I didn't see it...having said that, I can't access it as I'm not a member on there...
The stewards have to protect the officials at the end of the game and clearly some Reading players were out to attack the officials plus one of the coaches (Nigel Gibbs) seemed to want to lay into the stewards.
I also don't like that fact that they keep bringing Mulumbu into the spotlight to try and cover up McAnuff's antics.

Avon RoyalBrian Howard 'They were incredibly aggressive and got totally carried away. They obviously get bullied at home by their wives. The power of wearing one of those bright orange jackets totally went to their heads.

McD is always stressing the importance of getting in crosses so maybe time for Henry to shine, he also carries a goal threat. Tabb will get his chance because of the loss of Jem

Royal Lady Oh ok. So you won't mind having some steward being "a bit punchy" with you in the future then? Cool.

So, basically, you're saying you're not bothered about what happened after the game up at The Hawthorns then. You don't feel the stewarding was questionable to say the least and we should all just forget about it. Because, heaven forbid, no-one bothers about it and next time there are injuries, or worse, to players, officials and/or fans.Hoop BlahRoyal Lady Oh ok. To be honest I don't really care no, it's often part of the banter and 'match day experience' as far as I'm concerned, but I know that might not be the case for most.
I can't remember the last time a steward got punchy with me though, and I was obviously talking more in general terms of two sets of blokes having a handbags session.

RoyalBlue Another reason why we shouldn't have sold Bikey!
It's not like we have a team of hard men (or even any) nowadays. Mills? Griffin?
