Did anyone else notice that Jimmy won a tackle in the second half? Forget the new found confidence and selfishness to take a shooting opportunity, making a tackle was something really unexpected.

The Cap Rapport is a two way street and when the crowd were requesting acknowledgment from various members of our management and bench, who was the one person who failed to raise his hand?

Most people would have missed it, but he actually waved twice. It was very indistinct though.

He's apparently very shy off the pitch, so i'm hardly surprised if he wasn't enjoying the attention.

Also, according to Dellor (I know) the other players just laugh whenever he asks about Kebe's english. It's probable now it's better than he lets on (at least now), but he just doesn't want to talk to the media.

Royalee Piss off to the reserves where you belong, McAnuff showed you up today for what you are - a complete waste of space who only has one good game every 7 or 8.

Royalee spot on again.

Bring Rodgers back I guess too yea?

Like I said, I'm very pleased he's now beginning to perform consistently after being at the club over 2 years - long may it continue and he was deservedly given a standing ovation yesterday.

Rodgers brought in Rasiak who netted two yesterday and while I like McDermott, it doesn't mean we'd have gone down with Rodgers despite what many on here claiming so.

Where IS Royalee? Has he already moved on to support the MK Dongs?

We would if he'd played some of the player combinations he did in the past. Cummings anyone?

He'd been dropped, but that's neither here nor there and he's gone so nobody can say what WOULD have happened either way.

Bearing in mind the rehabilitation and resurgence of Jimmy, might we eventually see the same from Cummings? Write no-one off with this management team/

Fair enough, good post.

Now can we give Royalee a break on this?

Although I was never anti-Kebe I don't think it's unfair to have knocked him for being inconsistent at the time this thread was made.

He's been playing consistently to his potential and for first time ever and we're all delighted. Clearly noone wants to see him do badly. Nice on Kebe!

It's hardly like Royalee was on his own in thinking Kebe was tripe....about 70% of fans deserve the same reaction.

Also...how many of you were happy when McD was apponited??

I think what McD does with Cummings will be very interesting.

Clearly the lad has something about him, you don;t get to be on Chelsea's books and be a complete dustbin (Micky Droy apart). Something wasn't right for him early in the season and that could have been nerves, lack of clear direction, probelms with the team as a whole.

McD may persist and bring him back sometime with a simpler game plan and higher confidence in a team that wins games. Or he may release him in the summer.

Fair enough handbags.

I guess he'll get the hang of it. Besides, the new found popularity amongst some of the great unwashed is probably throwing him a bit. By the way are you sure he wasn't scratching his bonce?

Adding confidence and direction to the natural talent he clearly already had could make for quite an interesting mix.

He really should be ripping defences apart in this division.

His finish for his second goal was very interesting, he really thumped the ball home and if that is the side of Jimmy that is starting to emerge we will have fireworks to come !
