The day before my birthday we lost 2-1 at home to Bradford.

3 days after we lost 4-0 away to Leyton Orient.

Historically, my birthday was usually towards the end of pre-season (although this year it was the 1st day of the season),

So the nearest game to my birth was:

English Division 3 (old) Reading 2-2 Brentford 18-08-1979

The month I was born the country was under a foot of snow. No football from 22 Dec 1962 to 23 Feb 1963.

First game back we lost 4-5 to Brighton at home.

I had no idea how good soccerbase was until I looked that up.

Drew 1-1 away against Chester City the day before I was born, sitting in a comfortable 12th place in the 3rd division.

Drew 1-1 away at Walsall on the 10th February 1990, 4 days after my birthday. That's the closest match.

I've got a good one, Reading 4-1 Swindon 02/10/1976. Old Division Three.

I was actually born on the third though.

On the day, our dear rivals Oxford lost 3 - 0 away at Coventry... 8)

The day after we beat Sheffield United 2 - 0 at home. 8)

I think a rather good couple days for everyone.

The closest to mine is a 1-1 draw at home to Birmingham. I was precisely two weeks old when we won the Simod cup and nope I was not there.

Any chance your missus can churn one out for Sunday? Twins perhaps, or is that asking too much?
