Tredder It's West London and the other club was already taken.

Indeed, Fulham and Chelsea have had pretty stable owners for a fair few years now. Interesting couple of comparisons - Chelsea / Fulham vs QPR/ Brentford.

Love the bit about QPR's owners not being naive or stupid. I can see a couple of years worth of evidence to disprove that !! Never have a set of football fans had the cockiness knocked out of them so comprehensively.

Ha Ha, i fail to see what we've had to be cocky about, we just want a club run by people with the same level of passion and not used as a toy, me thinks that you worry about our club and support more than you do your own, you must have been fairly non plus about the 1-4 defeat earlier this season.

Agreed, although the endless preening about being 'the richest club in the world' and the discussions about how quickly you would make the Champions League were amusing even back then !!

Tredder me thinks that you worry about our club and support more than you do your own, you must have been fairly non plus about the 1-4 defeat earlier this season.

I don;t worry about you lot at all - I don;t spend anytime on QPR boards for one thing !

never enjoy a defeat, although the one against Plymouth was more upsetting.

But that's not cockyness, that's fact, although not fact now if you people think Man City are owned by richer people, supporters are entitled to be upbeat about being owned by people who sell promotion and above, who wouldn't, but i do not know a single QPR fan who would have gloated about winning the champions league because we have rich owners, we have seen far too many lows in recent years not to be so blaise about things, but we are a club built on a football ethic and have some great times in the past, no one can stop people lauding over those days, but in terms of the future, like every fan in the world, you hope the people in charge have the clubs interests at heart and want the best for it and the fans, we didn't get that with Flavio, despite his words, let's hope the new regime is different, oh, 4-1

Tredder But that's not cockyness, that's fact,

Although it was never fact was it. The owners never showed any sign of wanting any of their personal wealth to go anywhere near QPR. And of course it was cockiness given the number of QPR fans who assumed that because they had become a small outpost in the empire of some rich people then success was inevitable. And also because many of those same people seem to think that because QPR had a brief spell as a moderately successful club 20 years ago they 'deserve' to be up there with Wigan and Stoke in the upper reaches of the premiership !

Obviously not wanting to tar all QPR fans with the same brush, but there always seem a large proportion who over estimate the status of the club. I'm glad I follow a club who are a bit more grounded in terms of where we come from....

Go through this 'don't care about QPR' thing again, you seem to either have done a lot of reseach, read a fair bit about us or enquired, unless you're the runt of the family and the rest support the super hoops and you were just confused, LOL @ large proportion, have you been doing some market research in Shepherds Bush market?

When Flav took over at QPR, he was mouthing off that they were going to win the Champions League in 5 years, and I disntinctly remember hoards of QPR fans telling the assorted media that they were now the richest club in the World.

Even the bookies feel for it; the last 2 seasons, QPR have started out as favorites for promotion due to the "massive influx of cash" that the Worlds richest club were going to get.

That sort of BS must have totally hacked off genuine QPR fans, cos it certainly hacked off every other football fan in the country!!!

I hope that QPR can stop being a soap opera now, but somehow, i doubt it.

Define hoards, and also, tell me a single fan who's club had been sunk to depths of desparity, that would not be a tad excited by the likes of Briatore and Ecclestone taking over the helm and spouting stuff about 5 year plans, there are fans that think that every club has a divine right to be in any division, your team board tells you that Reading should be in premier league, but unless the other poster is a market researcher in West London, i don't think he has a clue what he's on about.

Bizarrely the modern world means a lot of people talk to a lot of others these days Tredder. You seem happy enough to mouth off about our club so why be surprised if others have the odd opinion about yours ! It doesn't show anyone 'cares' about you, check out HNA and lots of people chip in comments about endless numbers of subjects.

You always seem very touchy that any dares even suggest that QPR are just another middle of the road club with a bunch of fickle fans and a tiny bit of history that they cling to in the hope it may return one day !

Jacks !

They all would. And that would all get the piss ripped out of them when it inevitably all goes wrong. Tis life, tis football.

But i'm not using large proportions or hoards, as for grounding, one afternoon on your team board would offset that.

That's like saying someone already bought the Ferrari so I'll opt for the Fiat Punto.

No thanks, the calibre of conversation is too lightweight and on top of that, i couldn't cope with the ground being full of red shirts whenever Liverpool, Arsenal or Man Utd played.

Tredder if we lose to Reading by 2 goals or less, then i will take that as an aggregate victory, i look forward to the hilarious 'Colin' songs sung by the countries most original fans.

What a great attitude, Tredder; we're not exactly bloody Brazil because we have won a few league games and beaten Liverpool. As for Warnock, the man is an absolute disgrace and his rent-a-quote love-in with the media is truly sickening (the same media who fawn over the equally loathsome Arry Redknapp). That he has come out of jumping ship from Palace somehow smelling of roses as if he has done them a favour - is Paul Hart working for free then? - sums up how manipulative this bitter b@stard is. The man is not a character; he is an anti-social, foul-mouthed, twisted t*sser.....as evidence by his needless eye-balling of Brian McDermott in the visitors technical area at Selhurst Park a fortnight ago. Reading supporters are not unique in their dislike of Warnock, as you'd discover in due course if you actually attended more than two games a season 8) .

Although most of your post is right, this bit is wrong

Even if Hart is on the same money as Colin, Palarse are better off because of the comensation

Something quite important when you are in administration!
