How excited are you about Sunday?

by Archie's penalty » 04 Mar 2010 14:06

I am well excited about Sunday. I don't think I will be able to sleep on Saturday night. This is one of those little boy moments again like when I went to watch Reading at Old Trafford in February 2007.

So how excited are you folks?

more nervous than excited.. you end up with that dual personality thing going on.. logically you suspect class will out and villa will win, but theres always that hope.. that dream that you'll get to walk up wemberly (spelling deliberate!) way for the first time since 95 wearing the hoops :D

Yes! I've been having this. One minute I'll think nah we will definately lose this game, then five minutes later I would have convinced myself that we have a chance.

the worst bit about football is the hope. it adds to the excitement but as our last season in the prem shows.. it can also lead to heart brake :(

I've waited a bloody long time for this!! Decades in fact for a decent FA Cup run. Wish I was in Reading catching Cup fever as advertised by the Rdg Chron.

I know the semis shouldn't be at Wembley but that's part of the excitement. I'd take a semi  and a chance of the final in exchange for relegation, unfashionable as that view is. We'd back again soon unlike Wembley in the magical FAC.

I shall be whiling away the hours on a night shift. The excitement of that outweighs any FAC razzmatazz

Very excited, rising to massively excited by Sunday morning. I've never had the chance to see us at Wembley, and it's so close it's tantalising.

Not fussed. We'll prolly get dicked on live TV so looking forward to that is a bit like looking forward to the dentist.

Have to agree with Mags. Can't get excited, as I just think we're going to lose.

Apparently, the FA Cup is at the ground tomorrow between 11am and 2.00pm - so that's probably jinxed it for us anyway.

Could have said that about the Liverpool game.

Got no work done this week. In fact, I've gone past the point of reason and am just squeeking up and down like some demented toy... maybe I'll watch Toy Story a few times to keep me calm.
It doesn't help that I have that picture of Ryan, Brian and Gylfi in their orange shirts as my desktop background. Every time I see them, I start squeeking a bit louder.

Pumped.

If you're not excited about a FA Cup quarter final then quite frankly, you're the kind of person people avoid at parties.

Do you think the Queen will come and support her local team? I might write and invite her.

Not really. Liverpool are rubbish. Certainly a lot worse than Arsenal.

How excited am I about Sunday?

In the morning, I’m insulating the loft. So, yes, pretty f*cking excited.

In the afternoon, I’ll be sitting down with my five month old daughter to show her her first ever Reading game on TV.

I’ve got my shirt. She’s got her club baby-gro.

It’s gonna be the best thing ever.
