It'd barely be worth the effort to work it out - thought it more likely to have used it somewhere or other.

gh7901 Latest email contains a broken image and the text 'Team Burbs' so I suppose that solves that one

I did think that windups were supposed to be in some way amusing?

I don't know, getting people all in a tizz about something as pntless as a marketing email is worth at least a couple of minor LOLz. Well played team burbz

tbf yeah I suppose getting most of a 6 page thread out of it would count as a success.
Just seems a wasted oppourtunity, you'd think with all those email addresses they'd be going for major LOLZ

I only had email for about 10 mins yesterday and I've had email up and running today - rest of the week we haven't been able to access our emails - so, actually, I worked it out as soon as I saw the name "Peter Barnes" this morning. 8)

Anyway, it is still a bit disconcerting to know how he got all our email addresses...

I'm now pretty sure the address I was getting these mails on must have been obtained from the 'temporary' board that was setup. It may be different for others.

Fair play and all that.

Easy tho, you use email at work, i would assume you have info@.......co.uk and is replied from your email addy, so you may reply to a random email from work as RL@......co.uk, any stalker with an obsession could suss it.

tbf if you know someone's name and you use google its pratically impossible not to find our peoples work email addresses.

Some really silly people also leave traces of their bank details as they're a bit thick when it comes to online shopping.
