Multiple plod desperately pulling a Southampton nutter out of the crowd during the League Cup tie in 78 and ripping his artificial leg off. Escorted along the length of the South Bank hopping on one leg with a cop bringing up the rear with the absent limb.

Plymouth away 1993 when a Plymouth fan was being carried out by police/stewards and as he passed the Reading fans a guy ran out the gate and punched him in the face, the guy could do nothing. PRICELESS.

Yeah I was there for that one Sawyer. Didn't live in Reading at the time. Great turn out from our crew. Dylan Kerr - shirt over the head and all that.

Several spring to mind:

Away to Fulham in the 90's, not sure what year but pretty sure it was when Ady Williams went in goal. Anyway at half time the PA announcer (David Hamilton I think) cocked up his first announcement & was then soundly jeered every time he tried to speak. Pretty sure it ended with a resounding chorus of "You don't know what you're doing"

The two goalies at Oxford & they stick the second keeper got "You're even worse than the last one"

The Sunderland fan who ran on at Elm Park & kicked the ball into the net after Sunderland couldn't score (We won 4-0 if memory serves me right)

Kingsley doing a full length dive next to Diouf after he had blatantly lied.

The winner though.....Mcghee going mental after Archie had two scored the two injury time goals at Elm Park, priceless.

There's probably loads more, one in particular was an away fan at Elm Park getting pissed off because his bird was getting a lot of stick. Can't remember exactly what happened but I do know it was funny!

Ark Royal The announcer at Port Vale trying to pronounce Dariusz Wdowczyk's name. He finally gave up and in exasperation stated: "You Reading fans know who he is." Priceless.

North Eaat royal
URZZZZZZZZ 2-0 up at Brighton away in 2005. About 20 mins to go Reading were cruising to victory so the attention of the fans turn towards the ballboys at the front of the stand, we'll call them yellow stool and red stool (because of what they were sitting on). Some chants ensued much to the amusement of the fans. The jist was yellow stool was keen to milk the limelight and red stool who was a little older was embarassed and trying to stop him. He consequently got the piss taken out of him.

Having read that back it sounds pretty naff, suppose you had to be there.

Similar type of thing but at Birmingham away in the cup a few years ago when we won 3-2. We took about 2,000 up for the majority of the game all 2,000 were singing abuse at a bald fat man who wasn't taking it too well!

Ah, this charming gentleman?

And these two younguns.

sawyers left arm Plymouth away 1993 when a Plymouth fan was being carried out by police/stewards and as he passed the Reading fans a guy ran out the gate and punched him in the face, the guy could do nothing. PRICELESS.

I remember that. Do you remember the aftermath? The Argyle nutter running half the length of the pitch only to hurl himself at Ray Ilsley among others and then to be frogmarched away very briskly? That was funny.

percy_freeman The Uri Gellar failure at Elm Park when the people in the stand had the coloured cards. Not sure who the game was against, but when one of their players was sent off, seeing a sea of red cards was most amusing!

Derby County 1994/95. We won 1-0 with an og fired into the roof of the net.

Vince Bartram - Bournemouth keeper tearing his groin muscle in 93/94 during a 3-0 defeat. The singing Tilehurst End were merciless. Every time the ball went near him they screamed "Kick it"!

Dropping my fags on the pitch after Quinny's last minute winner against Argyle in 93/94 and getting a steward to get them for me

Streaker on the pitch from the singing Tilehurst End at the Tranmere game in 96/97 or sometime similar - midweek game. Went 10 yards and fell flat on his face. Stood up, ran 5 yards and fell flat on his face again. I was crying with laughter.

Ball boys at Tranmere 95 play-off in the tattiest tracks suits imaginable. Giving them the Harry Enfield 'day-doo-doo-day' and 'carm down' schtick.

Terminal is 100% right. I know this for three reasons.

1) I was in the Norfolk Road Main Stand (as that was where I sat with my Dad...I was considered too young to go in the South Bank...I would later graduate to a season ticket in the SB for the last few seasons at Elm Park!!!) by the corner of the Tilehurst End.

2) I still have the Red Card from that day somewhere (with the foam hand from the P/O off final that year too!!).......I chucked the yellow one after the game.

3) The whole stunt was cr*p and made me realise that Uri Geller was full of sh*t!!

At the Mad Stad in 2002ish I was sat right behind the dugout for a game (not sure who against). An opposition player goes down injured near the dugout area, opposition physio goes to tend to the player. Alan Pardew is livid about the challenge and kicks 1 of the Lucozade bottles at the side of the pitch full pelt straight in to the back of the physio's head. Was great seeing it close up, thought the physio was gonna kill Pards.

"I see you Harper, Shaking that ass, Shaking that ass" shouted at him while warming up as a sub.

Elm Park, Cardiff being told that the last train home is leaving before the game has finished.

Elm Park 95 , I think it was an evening cup game against Bury when it pissed it down really hard leaving the Bury fans soaked to the bone. Bury were 2 nil up and the game got abandoned due to waterlogged pitch.

Bury coming onto the pitch for the rearranged game and sticking 2 forks into the centre circle. That was very funny!

Referee for that Bury game was a Mr. John Kirkby, who I always thought was a 'lucky' referee for Reading.
