FAO Doom mongers

by AbovetheI » 07 Mar 2010 15:53

Before slating the team, take pride in the fact that we pretty much dominated Villa for almost 80 minutes. Great performance but the Premier League quality paid off.

I was proud of every player today and they've really done us proud as the FA cup run is probably going to keep us up.

So oxf*rd off with your negativity.

We did look good in the first half, but a football match is 90 minutes.

Compared with last year, the boys are a joy to watch. But this is on the whole a young team, so it's not really a surprise that quick goals get them flustered. They'll learn to stay cool in time. Let's hope that we can keep the bulk of them over the summer.

I won't be negative, but did we really practically dominate for 80 mins? Not sure about that. 45 mins defintely. However, I am well proud of the team. It was worth it just for when we went two up.

Carew was f*cking immense - if it wasn't for him we'd be at Wembley. Bastard.

We played a team packed with internationals and it would be interesting to see the respective valuations of players. Let's give thanks to our lads for having come so far in the FA Cup.

Now we should make our Championship campaign safe if we continue to show the spirit exemplified in recent matches.

My biggest fear was that we would be embarrassed. We weren't. We were fantastic and I have never seen the Mad Stad go so oxf*rd mental when we went 2 up. I invested so much emotion in the game today that I am now completely knackered. Roll on Wednesday!
