FiNeRaIn
2 world wars, 1 world cup Total and utter rubbish.

I wouldn't boo him for England but for his filthy cheat that gave Villa the second goal and the victory.

Cheats go down as the most despicable of players and that's what Heskey is.

A big oaf of a dirty cheat.

He has always deserved booing and he will continue to deserve it.

Sorry if that upsets you.

It may upset me if I knew what he's alleged to have done

How exactly did he cheat for their second....

I agree re: booing him for being rubbish for England btw. I would never boo an England player.

Obstructed Mills. He does it all the time. Look at the replays.

FiNeRaIn Once again, cringe worthy abuse for the biggest professional on the park.

Heskey didn't even open his mouth all game - yet is targeted for consistent abuse, just like many moons ago at wigan.

Reading fans = pathetic.

Support your team and stop barracking the opposition players, especially the ones who are model pro's and haven't done anything wrong.

I already know who is going to respond to this thread - some HNA users starting the chants I see.

If we have to rely on him to score goals in the World Cup we're fecked. I didn't boo him though.

Yes, yes they are. But you only need a couple of injuries and Heskey would be in the mix.

Finerain, can you please edit your posts that say "Reading fans" and change it to "some Reading fans" as I believe the vast majority didn't join in with these chants.

I personally was disgraced to hear fans singing insulting songs about an opposition player. This type of abuse needs to be stopped by the FA, I think we can expect a call from Villa tommorow demanding an explanation.

The vast majority round me unfortunately did, but point taken. I told them all to shut up but the bigots continued with their hateful chants.

Suprised at this thread. While most fans are still enjoying a post match pint, you are on your PC questioning alleged personal abuse on an opposition player. Are you a budding 605 presenter?
I think the Villa fans were more cringeworthy, they just didn't seem to get the idea of reciprocating banter, they were just childishly abusive.
As for heskey getting abuse? i did not participate but see no problem of trying to upset opposition players, especially when there is so much at stake. I fail to see why you regard Emille as the 'biggest professional on the park' ???? Used to be a 'big fish in a small pond', and to be fair he is still doing a decent job in his autumn (football) years. But i really thought that Carew might get a bit of stick. Elbows and arms all over Ivar throughout the game.

Agree. Heskey must be Fabio's love child; and he goes down easier than Jenna Jameson. Carpets spend less time on the floor than him.

Crouch should start for England. Better feet and he scores goals as well as being the obvious aerial threat.

This thread is the most cringeworthy thing I've seen today. If you don't like seeing players get abuse, then gtfo.

Missed the point entirely. Im all for giving players abuse - but not one's that have done nothing wrong. Its pathetic. Its the second time reading fans have given heskey abuse. While at wigan again when he did nothing wrong.

pff who cares? Seriously?

Heskey was absolutely MINCE today. He was the one person on their side I wouldn't have backed to score that 1 on 1 in the 2nd half.

I think the Heskey jeering today was simply down to the fact he was fukking toilet.

These would be the same Reading fans that gave Sidwell a standing ovation when he came on!

The problem with Heskey is that he has never fulfilled his potential. He should be better than he is. For Lennox Lewis, see Carew. For Frank Bruno? Heskey!
