Greatest RFC comebacks ever

I was reading some website about how Villa's comeback was fantastic and it listed 5 of the best ever comebacks. Since the 1985 Plymouth comeback wasn't mentioned on there, I thought sod them, I'll list it in my top 5!

So, in reverse order, this is it:

No.5 Reading 3 Stoke 3 - Two extremely late goals saw us snatch an undeserved point against a dominant Stoke side, although Barry Hunter gifted them the first goal...

No.4 Reading 3 Bournemouth 3 - Two late goals to deny a side containing Jermaine Defoe a place in the play-offs. One of them was from Darren Caskey who came off the bench to smash in a free kick. The atmosphere from this fightback had the Madejski Stadium rocking.

No.3 Reading 3 West Brom 2 - the game where Leroy Lita hit a stunning hat-trick and one of them was a beautiful 30 yarder!

No2. Reading 3 Middlesbrough 2 - our first ever Premiership game and we were quickly 2-0 down. But Kitson and Sidwell helped us get back and Lita blasted in the winner. Nice start to our Premiership life.

No.1 Reading 4 Plymouth 3 - what a fantastic fightback from being 3-0 down and a subsitution. And it was the first Reading game I went to!

There's probably more, I could have mentioned the FA Cup tie between Reading and Newcastle back in 1990 that ended up 3-3, I think Gilkes scored the equaliser that sent us to St James for the replay.

An absolute fave of mine - Stuart Lovell riding round the pitch afterwards on Steve Mautone's back. Classic stuff, and we pretty much hated Wolves at the time too if I remember correctly

Chesterfield had to beat us and hope other results went their way to stay up. Apparently they found out at half time that results were against them, and they knew they were going down.
