Can't argue with that at all, although you'd understand if he didn't bring McAnuff straight back in given our recent form.

Zubar has to start.

Is Griffin carrying an injury? If so AK47 may play RB

Otherwise I'd be seriously tempted to give Ingi another rest

Most likely is Macker will start on the bench with Howard in the middle
then maybe bring on Macker, switch Jimmy, drop Gylfi into the middle

We would be awesome with an on fire RW and LW but could the middle two get enough ball to them?

Not sure Sig can cut it yet in a defensive midfield position, and with the 4-2-4 formation we play I'm not sure we can afford to have him in there.

I'd be tempted to go with

Fed
Griff
Zurab
Mills
Bertrand
Kebe
Tabb
Howard
McAnuff
Sig
Long

He probably can, but what a waste of his talents that'd be.

Ideally he'd be playing just behind the front two - or maybe the advanced midfielder in a 4-2-3-1?

Bog off Rodgers.

I see no reason to change the team, even though I'm not very impressed with Ivar at the moment. McAnuff can work his way back into the team. His recent performances haven't been as good as earlier in the season, so having to earn his place back may just force him to up his game.

I'm not too happy about playing two out and out wingers with only two in midfield either. I think it's something that would require only one up and dropping two of Church, Rasiak & Long would be harsh just to crowbar McAnuff back in.

I like Howard and Tabb in the middle. In future I'd like to see Sig floating behind a lone striker, but for me that's something to work towards in future. No need to change what's workign right now.

Finally you lot are seeing Ivar is too slow. He really is a weak link atm, and it gets exploited sometimes.

Well you were wrong then. Ivar was solid in the Prem and last season before his injury.

Loook again. I said he was slow in the Prem. And I'm now saying he's a weak link. Never said he wasn't solid in the Prem. I mean, thats why we had such a tight defence...oh.

You'll be telling us that with your insight you've been on about how Tabb is short and Federici is Australian !

Saying Ivar lacks pace is hardly a revelation.

And it's hardly unusual amongst central defenders. it's not the most important attribute for players in that position.

Totally fair enough. Just winds me up when I see people talking about football when they clearly have never played at a decent level, and then proceed to talk utter shite.
