westendgirl I thought it was longer ago than that - the year that they beat us 3 -0 near Christmas when they were in the relegation zone (Dowie's first game?) and then rose up the league to get into the play-offs and then beat Pardews West Ham in the play-offs. Wasn't it the first season SSC was here and said that Pardew told him you never lost 3-0 with 4-5-1 but we managed it 3 games running.

03/04

December 20th 2003, prior to the game we were 7th, they were 21st. They came to our place and won 3-0, their fans were singing coppel is a palace fan on the bus back to shire hall.

They finished 6th, we were 9th. They won the play offs

Ideal I predict Colin to appear severely animated while preparing a substitution, and move his leg in a stamping motion.

Add to that at least one exaggerated mime of a dive and a quote of "I thought that at least two of their goals were offside/fouls by their players/I'm proud of the way my players kept at it, despite some diabolical decisions by the officials" and we will win 4-0 - hat trick for Long and another for Siggy. A shot by McvAnuff clearly to cross the line but not be given.... More calls for goal line technology....

Let's be up for it.

URZZZZ!

0 - 1 QPR

Tiredness finally gets to the players, team off the pace collectively.

Colin runs up to McD and screams in his face, then announces his retirement as 'job done'.

Mass hysteria on the team board, talk of relegation, and collective slashing of wrists.

Jimmy the Tree collective slashing of wrists.

It would certainly make for easier reading around here.

I think this game will result in the one millionth 0-0 draw between these two dull clubs. Tredder will hail this as an aggregate victory and get the numbers 4 and 1 tattooed onto his ample butt-cheeks; perhaps he could also list the scorers and the names and addresses of everyone in that whopping 11,900 crowd.

I was gonna go for a 5 goal win to the Royals, Warnock has won two home games, their confidence will be high, till we get two in the first 5 mins, then they will remember how shite they are.

This game is going to bring a lot of fans back down to earth. This will be a real tough one, the start of a tough run of games.

Score 1-2, we will lose this. We seem to come out in the second half and don't play as well. QPR are looking good under Warnock and they'll be there to take advantage of our mistakes. So they may even get 3. Look at how Derby got that goal...!!!

0-2 away win to the fake hoops as the wheels fall off. The players leave the pitch at the end of the game to a resounding chorus of boos. Fickle Reading fans swamp BBCRB after the game saying that we are dog turd and BMcD must go.

Well when I said back down to earth I didn't quite mean that but that'll come soon. Fans will consider our chances of a "plolay off" place a lot lower after the game Tuesday. Not that there's much anyway. By the end of the next 8 game run these boards will be very different indeed...!

You know that, I know that. Meltdown will be immense. Nothing worse than a keyboard warrior who feels as if he / she has been betrayed or let down!

5-0 'ding

Kebe, Gylfi, Long, Tabb (2)

Colin literally explodes when Jay's second hits te back of the net just before half time. The second half, as ever, fails to match the first 45
