Some bits just to correct/explain....
Firstly, the £31 for away fans IS excessive, but then it wasn't a tenner for home fans. Not even kids get in to PR for a tenner these days. My ST cost £540 and I'm in the Bobby Robson Upper. I took a mate who bought his ticket near us and paid £34, plus a fiver booking fee. Marcus Evans is making his money back from both sets of fans this season.
Anyone making reference to Suffolk Stranglers or prostitutes being murdered is rightly kicked out of the ground. It'd be the same if you went to Valley Parade and started singing about burnings, or to Anfield and started something about Hillsborough. The victims were picked up right outside the ground and feelings are, naturally, still a bit tender even now.
Our stewards are (mostly) a decent bunch, although home fans complain about being asked to sit down constantly whenever anything vaguely exciting happens. Complaints have been in short supply this season; I wonder why?
Be grateful you're probably not gonna make the play-offs after today. I thought you looked an average to occasionally decent CCC team, but that we looked comfortable, even after you scored. That team, like ours, needs some serious work done to it before you can progress safe in the knowledge that you won't be straight back down again with a handful of points and quite a few wallopings from Premiership 'big guns'. You've proved you can mix it with some of the Prem's teams, the trick now is consistency.
Finally, the Keano chant was much appreciated by the majority of fans in The Bobby Robson. Particularly me, who's had the pleasure of meeting Roy walking his dogs in Kesgrave Park in Ipswich and has seen him carrying a Kleenex as he walks (think he had a cold).
