Prolly been explained already but just would like clarification on 'lay' bets. For example, if I want to lay Woods for the US Masters and my stake is £2, currently on betfair the liability would be £9.40 if he were to win and the payout £11.40 if he were to lose. So (zzzz) am I right in assuming that it simply means that with the £2 bet I would lose £9.40 altogther or if he were not to win, I would win £11.40 - does this also include my stake?

Many thanks....

You lose £9.40 should Woods win the masters, and you win £11.40 if he doesn't win the masters

Been a pretty decent week so far, had a £0.50 Lucky 15 win on Tuesday night in the footy to supplement my good day's betting on the racing and I had Rooney firstgoalscorer (7/2) Lopez firstgoalscorer (11/2) Cardiff (EVS) and Barnsley to win, but they let me down Barnsley for full returns of £260, but still nice healthy profit back on that.

Yesterday had a Nasri (12's) & Sneidjer (11/2) first goalscorer double which neither won but had decent enough chances to open the scoring.

Suppose to be driving better that ever. It wouldn't surprise me if he won simply because it's Tiger, the man is a genius when it comes to the sport. I tend to choose 5 E/W value bets at the start of the tournament, assess where they are and normally get on someone prior to the final round. Worked for me last year in the Open when I had Cink had 8's going into the final day.

think of yourself as the bookmaker. you would lose £9.40 if he wins and gain £2 if he lost

I'm thinking of putting a cheeky bet on Bayern tonight - maybe £10.

Whats everyone else going for? (if anything)

Obviously, i'm being a massive after timer here but I backed 2-0 Ross County in play at 150/1 today

Probably my longest shot ever to land, just wanted to share that. Only for £2 but it's the principle!

If you have an Electron or similar cards you'll have to go through an age verification process - otherise no, because you're not legally allowed a "proper" debit/credit card until you're 18.

Joe - every site I've been to asks for age verification by...er....asking you to state your date of birth.

Visa debit should be fine, give it a go. Which site were you thinking of?

Just tried Corals, and Ladbrokes. Got through the stages on Ladbrokes, and then it oxf*rd up at the end. Nothing to do with age though. And on Corals, it said I had an account registered already :? wtf?!
