Victor Meldrew
RR,
Have you got any other footage of the hundreds of English and foreign divers?
Bendtner actually got booked for diving last night so why not show him?
Also out of the England squad that might be picked for the World Cup how about:-
Lampard
J Cole
Rooney
Beckham
A Cole
That's 5 others who have done as much as or possibly even more than Steven Gerrard
and if you throw in players from the recent past in Scholes and Owen it becomes clear that nearly all attacking players for England in recent times have done more than their fair share of diving so why single out our best player(according to those wise sports writers around Europe)?

SpaceCruiser How can people still think Arsenal is the best when they're on the verge of winning FCUK ALL? They've just lost to Spurs in a league game for the first time since 1999.

Victor Meldrewreadingbedding Nope.
I can think of at least 3 squads.
You will have to keep thinking about any squad let alone Arsenal's that would top the Invincibles!
In the original post the point was made that the current first team would not have matched up to the first team of The Invincibles.
It's the fringe players that have got Arsenal into this challenging position so the strength of overall squad must be pretty good to do so well.

Victor Meldrew The whole point of the original topic was the squad and in particular the squad players.
I am no fan of Arsenal as such but do enjoy watching them as English football's nearest (albeit not that near) team to the mighty Barcelona.
With such star performers as Van Persie and Fabregas missing large chunks of the season and Rosicky,Walcott,Clichy and Gallas not playing much I do feel that the squad (a better term might have been "fringe") players have performed brilliantly to keep them challenging for the title up to the last 5 games and even now they could well finish second.

Maguire I would say it probably isn't one of the best Arsenal squads. There are some brilliant players in there and they're awesome to watch, but I can't help but think of the days of Henry, Bergkamp, and Robert Pire, not to mention a couple of rough and ready centre-halves and even Ashley Cole (left-back is a bit of a weakness at the mo).
I'd love to see them win it because (cliché) it would be a triumph for pure football over the power of the £. Fabregas is a genius, but I think they miss Van Persie or another goalscorer too much.

they will struggle to get fourth place. cannot see where the next point is coming from.

SpaceCruiser How can this "best" squad lose to little Wigan?
