Millen is in charge until the end of the season and they will make further announcements when appropriate.

THere are rumours that there are issues around personal terms with Coppell.

Coppell was by far the highest paid manager last season.

Persumably holding out for something similar. WHich is fair enough really.

Indeed. He's a top manager at this level, and they should pay top draw to get him.

I wish Coppell well. But Ashton Gate is a bit decrepit and I wonder if he will stay very long.
It's clear that his track record speaks volumes and any club would want him. He can turn sows ears into silk purses, unlike Brenda.
But if McDermott succeeds next season he may be off, too. I hope that he can take us back up, keep bring in good quality players, keep developing the existing squad and maintain Mads interest. The smile on Mads face after the six-nil romp spoke volumes.
A yo-yo here we come...

I think they're about to build a shiny new stadium.

Expectations seem very high in Brizzle as a result of this putative appointment - maybe that's why he's possibly changed his mind all of a sudden?

Messiah
LoyalRoyalFan Have to chuckle at the Bristol City fans.

- They rate Bradley Orr better than Ryan Bertrand. They would turn down the chance to sign him.
- Seem to think they have a better squad than us at the moment.
- Adam Federici/Hunt/Tabb would move to Ashton Gate.
- Our only decent players that they would sign would be McAnuff and Federici.
- That Noel Hunt is 'gash'.

 POTD

They are all wrong. SSC's first signing will be Leroy Lita.
