How many have we sold?

Plus, is it unreserved?

As per Cardiff, these two things usually go hand in hand. But not sure how many we have sold, may say on the website early next week.

1871 Royal IIRC at watford they are very irritating in the away end and have the letters the other way round. For example, row BB is at, or near, the bottom.

Ah bollocks i have just looked at my tickets and guess what row i am? oxf*rd row BB.

I hope it will be unreserved seating.

Nah, all the day trippers will be out in force to ensure that doesn't happen.

Lets hope there is space at the back though. Most of us will be strolling in after a BBQ and a few beers.

Huntley & Palmer The only thing Watford used to be good for was walking through the allotments to the old away end. The ground is a shit hole made up of four varying age stands, none of which blend in with each other and they've compounded things by starting to build a block of flats or similar in one of the corners. As for the Harlequin, I remember going there as a kid in the 90's and it was shit.

They are filling in the corners with new facilities for the club (offices, new changing rooms) and also building flats for the NHS which will integrate into some NHS facility as the hospital is only next door.

Once the players changing rooms/facilities have been relocated into the new corner block then they will demolish the East Stand and rebuild it, increasing the stadium capacity to 23,000.

Not sure what the schedule is for getting the work complete but I don't think the financial situation helps.

.

Probably never..unless we get new backing in the boardroom.

Our ground is such a state really...be nice just to have 4 stands!

The Rous Stand was built in the 80s with the 2 ends being built in the mid 90s (funded by selling Paul Furlong to Chelsea for 2.3 million)

Our old board said they had "rignfenced" money to make improvements but...that money went missing somehow.

Anyway I hope you enjoy the trip but not the result (let us get a point...you guys do bring a good number and its local for both of us!")

Older grounds, shabby or not, are still better than these boring charachterless Madejski Stadium's, Pride Park's, Riverside Stadium's...

Agreed. Just look at what has happened in Cardiff for the prime example.

How is Watford for parking these days? It always seems to get worse each year I go up there.

What are the chances of tickets being avaliable on the day Super Horn ?
As mentioned we'll probably sell our allocation and if they don't re-arrange my flight for Friday then I'll be looking for a ticket in the home end
