The 'big' screen was immense, wasn't it. Great singing in the hotel afterwards and outside when the team bus came back. Good sing song at the 3Gs which I could hear all the way from my back garden.

The Three Guineas was superb that night - The whole of the outside area filled with Reading fans. Brilliant scenes.

Curo's touch for the goal was sublime. Top day out.

Where would we be now if he had not scored that goal? Of course we will never know but I doubt we would have made it through the play-offs that year and it would have set us back a few years. I do not think we would ever have seen the Premiership. A fine line success.

Notice how early the season finished because of the World Cup

Interestingly (or not) I went to Japan, and at the Denmark game, a group of us got into a discussion about teams that we hate. I was stood next but one to a Bees fan, whose stated hated team was Reading, based on the fact that it was the closest they got to a local derby, and we generally got the better of them. Didn't like the big time attitude of a number of our supporters either!

Great day, lucky to be there. Remember evans had a free kick in the last min and that was horrible. What a tense atmosphere too, they pitch invaded when they scored and again at full time looking for some confrontation. They plummeted as a club after that, fell off the scale while we went the opposite way.

Quality scenes at full time.

I was getting text updates from a mate watching teh screen at the Mad Stad whilst spending some quality time with my girlfriend.

She went mental at me when I interrupted her to check a text and started jumping around like a maniac.

RG30
Hugo Boss Who the hell were Roget and Talia??

Anyway, I missed out on a ticket and ended up passed out in a boozer round the corner from Griffin Park after unsuccessfully attempting to climb into the away end.

Leo Roget was a defender signed on-loan from Stockport IIRC, I believe he signed just before we played Swindon on Valentine's Day that season.

Frank Talia was a goalkeeper formely of Swindon we took on a free temporarily.

Frank Talia played for Wycombe.

Still baffled how we didn't get a free kick by that fowl on Forster (6 minutes in). Such a quality finish from Cureton - that's what he was all about.
