I think some sort of qualification is needed here. It is all well and good picking out names of extreme fringe players but that does not paint a very balanced picture. How about a minimum of 25 starts.

Colin Cheeselog Of players to regularly make the first team squad I'm going for:

4. Shaun Cummings

Shaun Cummings didn't regularly make the first team squad. :|

And including Kebe is just LOLable.

Now that is a fair shout. He only used us to feed his helecopter. Amazing player in his career, but flunked it at Reading.

+1. Never playing is not quite the same. Savage played enough matches to get on the list though.

Bas Savage
Keith Scott
Keith Jones
Mass Sarr
Nicky Shorey in 07/08. Went from being one of our best ever to one of our worst ever over 1 summer.

To be fair to Mr Cheeselog, this was originally posted back in October 2009, and even I would have to admit that at the time JK wasn't doing the business for us.

Although worst player is harsh, even a Rodgers-era Kebe is better than some of the dross we had to put up with at the start of the decade.

(Oh, and pedant mode on - 'millenium' surely started on 1st Jan 2001, so anyone who left before then doesn't count surely?)

I disagree with your nomination for Mass Sarr.

Well, he was not bad at Oxford, set up a goal, IIRC.

Rougier was yesterday's Kebe.

Like him or no, Rougier was a big part of a promotion-winning side. To suggest him as one of the worst players of the last 10 years is a bit bizarre.
