Wish him well there but hopefully he'll take a season to get them flying, by which time of course we'll be in the Prem!

Go and get bummed by Graham Norton. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Great comeback.

Spacey - just ease up on the anal comments. There seem to be too many references to it in your posts.

It feels a little bit like the first time you see your ex-bird with a new bloke even though you've moved on - for some reason it just gets you a little bit!

I wish Sir Steve all the best and would love to see us and Bristol City get promoted - with Coppell gifting us 6 points.

Oh and to all the pedants going on about which board etc. Just have a look at your life and ask does it really matter? If it does, I suggest you seek help.

Why is this still on the Team Board?

Why indeed? Some people on here are bleating that it's relevant.

Steve Coppell used to be manager of the Reading TEAM. The likelihood is he will probably try and buy someone from this TEAM, most likely Ivar Ingirmarsson who has been an integral part of this TEAM for some years now.

This suggests that the TEAM will need to be strengthened with additional squad members to support the first TEAM players. Bristol City are a TEAM we will be playing against and Sir Steve has good knowledge of the players that form our TEAM. What effect will this have on the TEAM? Will Steve's new TEAM be able to do a job on our TEAM now?

Also, barely anyone goes on the General Football board and as this thread has generated 4 pages, it appears in the best interests of this forum to keep this thread visible to a wider audience.

TEAM.

Get over yourself. We all have a connection with Coppell, and an interest in his career I'm sure. Leave it be.

We talk about past players on this forum, so why not past managers?

That's their problem.

The Goat was fed this thread has generated 4 pages

Mainly from people asking why this is on the team board.

The Goat was fed TEAM

Using the word team repeatedly in a post doesn't make it relevant to the team board.

Pah! Your claim that barely anyone goes on there and this has generated 4 pages is negated by the fact that the thread on GF has generated 6 (SIX) pages.

The fact that of the 4 pages about 3.9 is just arguing about whether it is on the right thread tells it's own story as well !

Not sure, it's a rather complex alegory I think and may end up being about nothing at all of any importance.

Just like life.

Stand up for Steve Coppell. I really hope we chant his name when the sides meet. Also if we are winning, i don't want us to be chanting what's the score to him, show the man the respect he deserves!!

Seeing as you appeared to be having an orgasm recently when you felt that I was "in your net" perhaps you would like to clarify which category this latest offering falls into, serious, fishing or just the basic and very typical irrelevant.

Serious.

I love your comedy interventions.

They brighten up my day.
