Tredder Anyone that thinks Rangers are much better than Celtic is simply deluded, Rangers are a poor outfit and so are Celtic, quite possibly the worse standard of SPL for many many years, Rangers won the league because they were marginally less shitter than Celtic this season.

Agreed. The standard up there is abysmal, highlighted by 2 things:

1. Keane LOL'ing all the way to the bank as he walks, not runs, rings round the defences in that league
2. Kyle LOLafferty being a star player for Rangers. Honestly, i'd sooner have Tony Rougier playing for my side than him.

The fact you consider lafferty a star player for rangers just shows your abysmal knowledge on the SPL. He's easily the most disliked and worst player in the lineup.

Stick to the EPL mate.

The point is, he looks half decent in that team, yet would be an average Championship player here. SPL is a weak standard of football. Just adds weight to the lolz of Celtic and Rangers ever playing in England.

No he doesn't look half decent - you need to stop commenting on something you blatantly know nothing about. How many rangers games have you watched? He's scored a few goals recently to appease the fans but he's been absolutely WOEFUL for over a year and he is by far the andy hughes of the Rangers team. Everyone thinks he's crap and wants him gone in the summer. You might have a case if you were talking about kenny miller being average in the prem and playing well for Rangers in the SPL.

Rangers and Celtic will never play in England, this is accepted so I don't know why you are using it as some sort of ammunition. No one cares. If they were ever let in they'd be amongst the biggest clubs there, so the lolz is on you thinking we'd have that team in 5 years of tv money. Smaller clubs like arsenal, tottenham, etc would be pushed out of the way.

Mmmm. Seems Walter Smith and the Rangers coach feel Lafferty has star quality...

25 odd league appearances this season would also suggest they see something in him which only goes to reinforce my point that if they feel he is a first choice player, then the standard of the league really is woeful.

Walter smith is hardly going to come out and call one of his players shite isn't he hugo?

You seriously using that as an argument? Miller has been suspended as has boyd. Both are the front two when fit. Lafferty is third choice which is why he's only had 25 games as backup( a lot as sub) and been poor during most of them.

I don't really see what you're driving at FR cos we're both agreed that he's absolutely dire. My point was that if he is a first team squad member and sometime first choice player (which he clearly is) then it highlights just how bad the SPL is. He would struggle to get into any Championship side in the English league and whilst I know there's the whole issue with no new squad members, surely they have better than him there at Ibrox?? He is honestly one of the worst players i've ever seen.

I kind of agree with the Smith comment but then again, he could have chosen to say nothing on the subject rather than making out as if Lafferty is gonna be some super striker next season.

I'd argue Spurs and Arsenal (certainly Arsenal) are much much bigger than Rangers.

Arsenal was more tongue in cheek, spurs aren't half the size of rangers.

Ideal
FiNeRaIn he is by far the andy hughes of the Rangers team.

Playing in Scotland would make Andy Hughes look like Lionel Messi.
I bet Rangers fans wet themselves at the thought of Andy Hughes playing for them. He's better than anyone they've got.

What a retard you are. Not one of Readings players would get near the rangers lineup never mind a league one player. Dream on.

McGregor, Davis.

Weir has been easily good enough this season, but at 40 I dont think he'd be quite as good in the higher-tempo Championship. Boughera and Wilson (I know they didnt play) would walk into a Reading side, no doubt.

Ideal Name one player from that lineup which would be able to get into our team?
You can't, can you? They're all worthless.

Boyd
Miller
Davis
Thompson
Wilson
Mcgregor
Whittaker
Bougie

Just a few.

The list goes on, sig wouldn't get a game and he's by far and away the best reading player. I suggest you learn some more football buddy.

Ideal I think it's the other way around, very few Rangers players would be able to get into the Reading team.

I am not sure if you are fishing or clueless.

I hope you are fishing!

Reading's 106/prem league team would have given the rangers team a game.

Our current team could not compete lace the boots of half the current rangers team.

Feds better than McGregor, FFS. I don't need to go any further down the list

Despite being free it's hardly a glamourous game is it - a meaningless end of season friendly that had already been postponed from last week.
