Silver FoxTerminal Boardom Another ploy from the club to con people into buying STs.
Why don't you just forget about it all? You're clearly not happy supporting the club, reading about it on here must really pain you. Just go do something else, it'll be better for all of us really won't it?

And coming from a poster who months ago declared he wasn't bothering to renew and would 'cherry pick' his games...

Terminal Boardom . All this is is a simple "Come and get me" plea which will be taken up by his agent.

Sun Tzu It's mind numbingly boring to have the small number of people on here who can be guaranteed to adopt a negative stance on everything. Just can;t see why you bother....

From Despair To Where? I don't honestly believe his wages would be that much of a problem. Blackburn aren't one of the higher payers in the Premiership and he's never really been more than a squad player there. I reckon somewhere in the region of £8,000 p/w would secure his signing and, although that is relatively high for us in the current climate, it's not bad for an international captain and most likely less than Ivar is on.

Working on the basis that the leaked West Ham weekly figures are broadly correct:
Matthew Upson £70K
Danny Gabbidon £50K
Jonathan Spector £20K
Manuel da Costa £20K
Hérita Ilunga £20K
Fabio Daprelà £10K
James Tomkins £4K
Jordan Spence £400
You could assume £8K wouldn't be enough for Zurab (and Griffin), perhaps a figure +£10K might clinch them both. Lose Ivar off the wage-bill, match Mills' wages, or spunk £400 on Jordan Spence and hope he's not as flat-footed as Pearce.
