Bryn - Performed well this season. Wonderful assist at Anfield. Played at right back and did well. Keep!

Cisse - Can't pass to save his life. Sell!

yappy Cisse can be a bit hit and miss. If you look at our three best away performances in 08-09 (as in the 4-1 win at Bristol City, 3-0 win at Wolves, 3-1 win at Birmingham) the one thing they have in common was Cisse playing a blinder. Last season I would've definitely said our best midfield involved him. I was expecting him to play a more prominent role this season, but for one reason or another it hasn't seemed to work out. If Bryn goes then he'll be surplus to requirements, but if Bryn chooses to move elsewhere I'd be more than happy to see Cisse stay.

Yeh i went to all of them away games....Hes got it in him to dominate a midfield

Cisse is no use at all, Karacan and Gunnarsson were the midfield pair at Wolves last season, Cisse only came on in the 84th minute.

Stop being such a child. Cisse has had about 10 good games in three seasons. Big wow he can strike the ball and score a few goals. It's much more important that he can't pick a pass and is easily bypassed by any decent midfield. He simply doesn't have the brain to have the game going on 360 degrees around him.

And he doesn't have the heading ability to be a good enough centreback for us.

Completely agree, doesn't look like that chump goes to many games. Bryn is far more versatile and has more skill in one foot than cisse does in two.

Unfortunately, I think it is Cisse.
Generally, I think he has strong attributes. I think he lacks the winning mentality to turn a game or gee up the team when leadership is required. I guess that may be a language issue. Not sure.
His main weakness is his passing. At times it is really poor and on many occasions, RFC has lost good momentum following slack passing from Cisse.

I was at Birmingham last season when we easily beat them 3-1 on their patch. They only got their goal following a forward move by Reading which saw Cisse pass the ball straight to a Brum player whilst he was the last central midfielder back (meaning that most of his team mates were upfield in front of him). The ball was put straight to Phillips who was able to run at the Royals goal unchallenged and stick it in the net. That could have turned the game as it put Brum back into it at 1-2 down.

I have seen Cisse do this too often in games over the past couple of seasons. It's something he just can't get rid of. Therefore, he is a liability, despite his other strong attributes.

Handsome Man It's a tough one isn't it.

Either somebody who has just had his best season for the club by miles, and signed his contract last year at the start of the cloth-cutting phase

Or a waste-of-space expensive purchase from the premiership days who will be missed as much as herpes.

Cisse must be given a free transfer.

Bryn has had his best season? You sure? He hasnt scored all season, and im sure he has no assists.
now I know that you are either:

1. A WUM

2. Didn't even watch the Anfield game

3. A cock
nice one LR22

#3 it is then

I seem to literally be the only one of the board that would prefer Cisse to Bryn.

Brynjar Gunnarsson is a valuable member of our team. His versatilely has been shown in games against Bristol City, Liverpool and Newcastle. I don't think I have seen a better defensive display from someone who is not a natural defender. His experience has shone through and he must be tied down to a new deal.

Cisse has shown glimpses of potential, but not enough. To say that he is better than Gunnarsson is way off the mark.
