Alan Partridge Holloway has done a miraculous job at Blackpool to restore his own reputation of a very good manager, especially when on a budget. He has bought and loaned unbelievably well and got the best out of certain players already there.

Incredible achievement already, I bet the bigwigs at best league in the world HQ are shitting themselves at the thought of Blackpool v Fulham in front of 7000 people

Very naive to think Blackpool wont fill their ground every week in the Premiership.

Brilliant to see the little club slay the big club. Hope they win the final.

It currently only holds 13k anyway.

Away stand improvements needed methinks!!!!

Would they have to do that? I just like the thought of all the Prem fans standing there in the wind and rain. Should show them how the other half live.

T.R.O.L.I. Indeed he has, Kes, however he needs to learn some magnanimity in defeat and lose the small man, chip on the shoulder syndrome.

Seemed fairly magnanimous last night:

Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies:
"In big games you have to be confident enough to get on the ball and show composure and bravery and an arrogance second to none, but we didn't do that tonight.

"Credit to Blackpool, they handled it better than we did. We had too many players freeze on the night.

"These young players froze on the night. Young players that have been outstanding all season and who did great to finish third - it was just too much tonight.

"But don't take anything away from Blackpool, they deserved it and I wish them all the best in the final. I hope they win it."

I was shocked when I read that this morning - totally and utterly out of character

I must admit I didn't see that coming, I really thought Forest would win comfortably.

Well done to the seasiders, and I really, really, hope they beat Cardiff (who will doubtless win tonight)

Blackpool are echoing us in 95 - shit ground, unfancied, going into the POs on a winning streak, fantastic away performance. Hope it does not go tits-up for them in the final.

Except that they finished in 6th place, 21 points behind 2nd place and 9 points behind Nottingham Forest. Doesn't seem right that they should go up. Still, I'd love them to go up rather than either of the nasty two clubs in the other semi.

I don't understand how anyone can be fussed about that anymore - the play-offs have been in place for so long now that everyone knows that 6th place has just as much of a chance to get you up as 3rd.

Unbelieveable amount of Cardiff plastics around South Wales today, 26'000 full house, would love to know what their average is, was no where near full when we were there!

LOL! Leicester leading 3-1. All I can hear now is Leicester singing that they're on their way to Wembley.
