M-U-R-T-Y So this is what the FA cup run paid for...

By the looks things, about time they gave something back other than the vouchers tbh. Wonder if Sir John will let McD buy anyone in or if we will be a feeder club for bigger teams again?!?!

When was the last time we were that? (Post Play-Off failure 94/95 is the only time that I can think that we sold any number of players that we may have wanted to keep - the sale of players post relegation from the Prem were a necessity driven by the players' desire as much as economic strategy, otherwise we would have sold the likes of Doyle, Bikey, Matejovsky the minute we were relegated)

With respect I don't believe that is correct. Even the club stated that some sales were an economic necessity and, if they weren't, why did we reinvest so little of that received and why can we not now afford Zurab?

I think the reality was that there was a need to balance the books last season and the fact that our most saleable assets were going to leave anyway meant that came about - a happy conjunction ! We didn't sell Doyle in order to balance the books, but his sale meant they balanced (if you see what I mean ). It also meant we were able to spend getting on for 3 million on new players and be prepared to spend another 1.7 or whatever it was.
Not sure it's true we can;t afford Zurab either !! We'll decide on that come August or if he goes elsewhere.

I think the ST's represent good value especially for the under 12's. In a couple of seasons time I may well be in...

The u12 (it's u16 isn't it ?) is very good value, i can;t imagin emany u16's who are more than casual fans not getting a ST when it is about £3.75 a game.

I'm certainly getting one and hoping I can get away with it for the 17th successive season....

Is it u16's? In a couple of years time when my lad is a bit older I will be looking for both of us to get ST's. The trouble is with so many mid-week games he's a bit young and plus I work late a lot of the time...but in a couple of years it will be worth doing.

I think they trimmed down the categories when we got relegated

Worth checking out the cost element even if he only goes to Saturday games. And bear in mind you can upgrade the ticket anyway so you could take someone along to evening games and just pay the difference.

10) £99 /23 = £4-30 a game

2) you only get away with it cos you look so young, losing all that hair helped.

As said good value, about the price they should be IMHO, am hoping for a drop in match day prices, especially for adults, possibly as low as £19 pre booked.

As a STH I'm hoping that they do away with match day tickets as I feel allowing people to just buy for certain games erodes the benefits I get from my ST. Anyone not prepared to fork out the full amount up front just shouldn;t be allowed to go to games. That is what 107is for.

Frankly I am almost in agreement with you, but untill we sell 90% of the allowed seats as ST again we are kinda buggered.

Seriously tho, i think they should do away with the 3 for 3 type offers and just make tickets cheaper, fine to up the price tho for games against more popular clubs,

For those wanting a new season ticket, they are accepting them now despite website saying difficult.

Spare seats near us, new family member wants to join us and we have managed to nab the seat at £395.

And there will be a "Movers' week", if anyone wants to change their seat after renewing.
