rhroyal The best thing about Blackpool's win today was, for me, the fact that Cardiff have had their success this season based upon "financial doping". They had no right to be in the Premiership, their success on the pitch was due to foul play off it. We've already seen Palace stay in the Championship at Sheff Wed's expense. In my view, it's the second time they've gone into administration, they should have been relegated end of. With Pompey, Hull and Cardiff going into the next season staring down the barrel of a financial mess, please can the FL make tighter rules on financial regulations? It's been unfair on Pompey and Palace fans facing all the uncertainty on their club. It's been unfair on Sheff Wed who went down due to Palace's mismanagement. It could have been unfair on Blackpool and has probably been unfair on clubs who narrowly missed out on the play-offs due to Cardiff spunking money they didn't have away on the likes of Chopra. It must stop; it's a joke.

Wednesday went down because they were shit, they nearly survived because Palace couldn't run themselves properly, but they weren't good enough to better a midtable side in free fall who'd had 10 points docked. Going down perfectly deserved.

I never like to take joy in other clubs mis fortune. Think it's a bit say really, as fans we are all in this together and at the end of the day it the fans who pay and the guilty paties walk away.

However There is something thoroughly dislikeable about Cardiff and everyone involved in that club from off the field, to the players on the pitch and the fans in the stands.

Yesterday was priceless.

True, but for years they have lived with their debt and resolutely avoided dumping it through administration.

Very little about football is rational, so even if there is no rational reason to dislike Cardiff and enjoy watching them fail, that's still perfectly acceptable and in keeping with the great football tradition.

So you're OK with large numbers of their fans kicking off and attacking Blackpool fans after the game then

I dislike Cardiff because they have more than their fair share of hooligans and yet they the FAW let them get away repeated misbehaviour, more so than the FA would. That and the fact Chopra plays for them.

I fully expect TG to bankroll them and save them from the current financial mess they are in.

I think you utterly misinterpreted the sentiments Ian was expressing.

Cardiff are not alone in having idiot fans. You don;t hear many people saying they hate West Ham or Liverpool, or Birmingham just becuase they have a nasty element to their following.

I agree all clubs have idiot fans, but Cardiff have a disproportionate number compared to other clubs that regularly create incidents. How many other clubs have bubble trips? They also have the FAW excuse card to play. That's why I have a rational dislike for Cardiff.

No. I said "even if there is no rational reason to dislike Cardiff..."

You seem to have some problem understanding English.
