Shaka's Giant Hands Putting on 'unders' in late kick off instead now to try make up for it

oops!

Yeah, as soon as the keeper went off I was never comfy but thought I would just about see it out...oh well. I'll happily take 6 wins on the bounce to every 1 loss for the rest of the cup!

Just opened a £10 William Hill account to get the three free £10 bets.

They don't appear until the first £10 bet has been setlled, so have thrown it onto Nigeria v Greece at 3.1.

It'll make the game more interesting and happy to write that initial tenner off.

Something someone on here wrote made me back Huigain for the golden boot. Not a bad move- I got 18/1 - down now to 3/1.

Do you want me to post up a screen shot of my outstanding bets with Paddy Power? I have had quite a bit of success in this campagn, and a few that failed. So far I am £55 up (not including money I have outstanding on open bets). These include Iniesta for the golden boot too @ 125/1- I am a bit less confident of that one. Backed Holland e/w in the final @ 10/1, backed USA for a draw....so exactly what do you base your comments on?

Is it possible to do 2 triples in one bet?

eg.

Germany to win
USA to win
England to win

and

Germany to win
USA to draw
England to win

If you do it on betfair, you can do one triple of
Germany to win
Lay Slovenia
England to win

Job done.

Its, for example, if you back USA and it ends in a draw you get your stake back - if USA lose, you lose your stake. You get offered vastly reduced odds as a consequence.

What you're looking for fella is usually called a 'double chance', i.e. you get the draw and the win.

Post away but it's still after timing. Funny how you only mention the bets that are coming in - although Nigeria taking an early lead forced that one out of you, your first loss of the tournment presumably.

There's been some memorable doctored outstanding bets posted up on the betfair football and circket forums over the years.

I tend to find though that other people's aftertimed bets are as about as interesting as listening to parents talking about what their kids get up to.

Nah, I lost by backing Cote D'Ivoire against Portugal, definitely mentioned the USA bet in advance, had my first ever accumulator lose at the first step when Spain went tits up. Japan has been my best bet to date.

BTW, I don't really know how to post up a screen shot- and obviously it would be disbelieved if I did.

My daughter put £20 on Switzerland to beat Spain. She's very bright.

Exile...I'm with you, think that it may well be this that your referring to...

'TOP GOALSCORER Villa is the obvious choice, and Spain could well score loads, but Villa is too short for me, and I have always thought Argentina look like a team that is full of goals. If, as seems likely, Maradona goes with a 4-3-3 employing Higuain up top with Di Maria and Messi out wide, then Higuain will look huge at 26.0. Im also on at 25/1 ew with Will Hill. The value is already gone on Messi (now 12.0) but I have backed the up and coming Benfica youngster Di Maria, rumoured to be signing for Real Madrid in a £40m move this week, at 1000.0. and 150 for top 4. I have also had small investments in a couple of Spain’s wide men, in Navas at 920 average and 120 top 4 and Silva at 700 average and 100 top 4. '

I only know that because it inspired me to 8) £5.00 each way at 18/1 will do nicely!

Cut and paste from Paddy Power....and yes Shaka- exactly what I read! Not going to retire, but adds some extra interest to the tournament.
