Spotted! - Royals special

Saw a Royals flag on TV whilst watching England v USA yesterday. Also, pretty sure there was a few pictures on here of a Reading flag at the 2006 World Cup.

I can concur this to i saw the huge Royals flag, ive seen this same flag at the Mad Stad a few times , normally adjacent to the away end.

On ESPN last year they were showing old Ashes matches from down under. It was the mid 90's and I spotted a guy in the crowd wearing the yellow and blue hooped shirt we wore when we won the title in 94. Not content with that when I watched the next days play I spotted him again this time wearing the yellow and red hooped shirt we used the same season.

Bumped into a guy wearing a Reading polo shirt, during a visit to Coricancha temple, in Cusco, Peru.

And not quite along the lines of spotting a shirt, but:
on a minor border crossing between Rwanda and Uganda (the customs office was just a large shed), the Rwandan border official noticed my passport had Reading as my town of birth, and exclaimed:

"Ah - do you support Reading? I used to support them when they were in the Premiership. I hope they get promoted back to the Premiership, then I can support them once more."

Bloody plastics...

Bumped into a bloke at Le mans this weekend wearing RFC shirt.

I was wearing my RFC shirt on the beach in Antigua a few years ago and this couple approached me saying they were from Philadelphia and big fans of Bobby Convey.

2 posts in 5 years. Good effort.

My wife bought 20 shirts to give out to members of my local football team that I play for on the Central Coast - NSW Australia.
Come down to Umina Oval on a Thursday night and it is like Reading's own training ground. (Not quite as much talent though)
