Brazil v Holland

by handbags_harris » 02 Jul 2010 09:33

My feeling is that Brazil will win, but it'll be close. I think the key to a Dutch success will be if they can get any joy down the flanks with the attack minded Brazilian full-backs up against workhorse Dirk Kuyt, and more importantly Arjen Robben.

Expecting a disappointing first half, and a 1-0 Brazil win.

Both teams don't excite me. Probs slightly more for Brazil.

Agreed - the teams are set up, and play, in a very similar manner, the exception being the attacking done by the Brazillian full-backs. I think it'll be a major shock if the Dutch get through.

That sums up my feelings. Hopefully we'll be proved wrong.

Brazil 2-1 Holland. Luis Fabiano to score both for Brazil and Robben to score for the Dutch.

Are these the most boring teams these countries have ever produced?

I would agree with that but it will be interesting to see how the Brazil defence holds up to the Dutch ... I think Brazil are suspect on the wings
