How have you found the shirts? I can only find the shorts on the website.

Have known for a while the away kit was going to be black as Jonny Fordham tweeted about it.

Someone put this on twitter but i have my doubts that its grey and not white as the description of the shorts says on the JD Sports link for the shorts.

I took the link for the picture of the shorts, and just the shorts, which is:

http://jdsports.scene7.com/is/image/JDSports//01569a?wid=80&resmode=sharp&op_usm=1.1,0.5,0,0

I know that the number sequence in the link represents a product code, so I just changed the code - 01569 to 01570 and up popped the pictrues. The letter represents from view and back view, so I tried 'b' but it said it's still waiting for the image.

Unless it's the training top, why would we have it on the JD server?

Evening Post today saying this is the leaked shirt

Reading’s new 2010/11 Puma kit appears to have been leaked on the internet days before it’s official launch date.

These exclusive pictures were found by one eagle-eyed fan who claims to have stumbled across the kits when browsing a sports retailers website on Tuesday evening.

Although the official kit launch isn’t until Friday morning, it has been claimed that JD Sports had already started to advertise the new kit on their website.

It is believed the mistake had been noticed sometime on Tuesday evening and the kits were taken down, but supporters can still buy the new home shorts here priced at £19.99.

The website says: "These men's official replica Puma Reading home football shorts for the 2010/11 Championship Season come in a royal blue colourway with a white trim featuring contrast embroidered Puma cat branding and woven club crest on the front.

"The Royals had a top 10 finish last season and were the giant killers in the FA Cup, support them in the new home kit as they push for promotion to the Premier League!"

Click on the link below the image to get a glimpse of the black and red away shirt for the new campaign.

IIRC the kit if £10 cheaper than most season, and tbh it actually looks it.. Maybe if we went down the Sporting Lisbon route, it'd be the normally £45..

So do I, nice little touch with the "paint streaks" and the hoops seem to go all the way round, which should stop some tears. Obviously if it's bullshit so be it.

My sources close to the club have just confirmed that the new kit is currently in their hand, no description available sadly but I'm guessing any pics from today's training session might reveal all

They are both so much better than the appalling designs we had last season (and the season before), I might actually buy one this time - if that is the final design of course!

Are we sure this isn't a wind up?

I know that getreading are running with it too, but the hoops do look very "coloured in" in places. Perhaps that's the effect they're going for, although a little strange if this hasn't featured on any other hooped Puma designs (Ivory Coast, Sporting etc).

It's nice enough though. Despite the arms looking a different colour to the shorts.

Also on the black one, if you look closely, you can clearly see where the Puma, Reading and Waitrose logos have been stuck on.
