ex Royal at QPR - help....

by shaka's shorts » 07 Jul 2010 11:12

My sister lives in Weybridge and last night a QPR footballer moved into the house opposite her. She had a brief chat to him. He used to play for Reading and now plays for QPR. She said he was scandinavian. He has 3 kids, so cannot be one of the young guys like Illugson. Who could it be? I can't think of anyone....

Heidar Helgusson and no he's never played for Reading but does get linked at least once every close season.

Can't be Helgusson as he's Icelandic isn't he ?

No but 'He scored his first goal for Bolton since coming back from injury 4 days later against Reading in a 2-0 win.'

shaka's shorts sister might have mis-heard him, he may have just mentioned playing against Reading, not for them!

Row Z Royal Iceland counts as Scandinavia.

Not really....

but I agree many people mistakenly include it.

But in this context, given how utterly trivial it all is I'd probably include New Zealand as Scandanavian for the purposes of working out who this possible footballer who may or may not have played for or against us might be !!
