Ian Royal Spain just don't ever do anything. They were so dull. Germany couldn't get hold of the ball though, so it was effective. Definitely missed Muller. I thought Podolski was fairly poor too.

Shame.

Bloody hell Ian! It was a joy to watch, their passing was superb while patient as well.

No wonder your football opinions are shot to pieces on here!!!

With Ian here.

F*ck all exciting going on. As if people think that football would be better if we all played like that (i.e. Brendan Rodgers)

I suppose that this goes in the OFFICIAL "The Final" thread, but it doesn't exist yet, and I ain't about to start it --but anyway...

[mode=QueerEye]

In what colours should we expect the two sides to be kitted out on Sunday?

Dutch the nominal home side and should be expected to be in oranje from shoulders to ankles

Would h7 to see Spain in some bleh alternative kit (scroll down info box @ right), like all navy blue or all white [/mode]

Couple of things.

LOL @ Precious Chilli, at the orphanage at half time.

LOL @ Chris Moyles' "comedy" commentary.

Spain, in the World Cup final. England with their straight lines and 100 mph get it up front as quick as you can headless chicken routine, sitting at home.

Dull game. Spain deserved to win, but I'd much rather watch Germany in the final. Spain seem to rely on boring the opposition into submission this competition. They were much more exciting to watch at the last Euros but here they're just dull.

And I'd much rather see an England vs North Korea final :| Fact of the matter is Spain did a professional job, retained the ball well and were more effective in the final third.

Adios Nazis!

Don't get me wrong, Spain were very good, and technically excellent.

But they are really dull and rely on tiring teams and sneaking a goal where they aren't massively superior. Some superb ball keeping and passing. But Jesus Christ it's not entertaining in any way.

Spain were excellent. Germany had been the team of the tournament and they barely got a sniff. I don't really like Spain and was hoping the Germans would win, but the almost complete control the Spanish had during the second half was awesome.

If you don't find that entertaining, I'm not really sure why you watch football.

I ended up reading a book with the footy on in the background, thats how captivated I was.

Not denying it was football for the purists, but if I had to watch games like that week-in, week-out, I wouldn't think I was getting great value for my season ticket.

//Their football was so perfect and so mesmeric, they had to score with a f*cking corner. Says it all

agreed. Great entertainment.

I was for Spain, despite Klose being my favourite player in the tournament. Could we buy him? He's more or less past it now.
