Compo's Hat They're both as pointLOLess as each other, difference is i won't be wasting as much money as floyd will be.

At least he has it to waste :?

Human waste is more interesting than England v Bangladesh to be honest.

It's true. I've seen your pic from the weekend.

southstand67 Yea I'm going too - my first ever away match!!

LOL

For those of you going, make sure you sample the cheeseburger with chips and curry sauce. Tres bien, and knocks spots off the pig swill served up at the Madj. Me, I'll be in Bristol watching England vs Bangladesh so can someone text me the score? Cheers.

That will be over in time for you to get to Farnborough for the kick off.

For me the most interesting thing is which 22 play - gives us a pretty good idea of who is in McD's plans and who is off.

Here are 2 teams for sat in no particular order.....
Fed, Grif, Williams, Pearce, Mills, Mcanuff, Kebe, Tabb, Howard, Hunt, Long
Hamer, Cummings, Kelly, Gunn, Cisse, Henry, HRK, Sig, Karacan, Church, Rasiak

That would still leave the likes of Anderson, McCarthy, Davies, Antonio, Mooney, Bignall, Bell-Baggie, Taylor plus Inga of course.

So, will we see Cisse, McAnuff, Davies, Rasiak etc playing? If not, then surely they are off this summer....

Alan Partridge LOL @ LOLing at someone paying to watch international sport who is paying to watch a friendly match between Farnborough and Reading.

Going to watch first class international cricket > going to watch Michael Hector play.

what if we saw cisse play and then sold, do you deem that to be controversial!! Anyone who plays/ doesn't play does not automatically mean that they are not in plans

Unless the player in question is a certain David Kitson and suddenly gets a nasty cold before the first friendly of the season.

More a case of having an excuse to have a few drinks with your mates in a decent atmosphere.

A phrase that the world of football isn't stupid enough to use.

Looking at the advert for this match on the Farnborough site; it says that gates open at 12 noon and fans should arrive early to avoid disappointment. Does the ground get full or something?

Living in Bedfordshire, I was thinking of making the trip to Farnborough via the Madejski Stadium so I could pick up the new top.

I guess, like Fed, Andersen was away this summer too and could be rested too.

Hadn't spotted Mooney wasn't there either.
