I wish he'd told me that when I saw him in Shinfield petrol station instead of letting me make a prat of myself.

I wouldn't really say so. He hasn't been fully fit for years, he missed all of his last season with us! When he returned on loan, he looked half the player of old. Best of luck to him, but his best days are far behind him.

Was I alone in expecting some humorous thread about diminutive road signs pointing towards Aldershot?

Oh well - good luck Mr Little.

He's not the first Royal to end his days there. Paul Bennett any more?

Royal Bison Scott Murray going there too

Kevin Dillon has confirmed that former Bristol City player Scott Murray will not be joining the club. The 36-year-old has made over 400 appearances for the west country club, who are visiting the EBB Stadium on Saturday afternoon for the opening home pre-season friendly. Speaking to The Shots Online the boss said, "Scott has been training with us during the summer but it is likely that he will be staying at his former club in a part-time coaching role that will limit his opportunities on the playing side.

"I wish Scott all the best for the future."

Yes, Aldershot not far for me also.
After attending way over a thousand football matches, admittedly most not at the top level, Glenn Little is one of the top half dozen players I have ever seen.
