Maybe as a last chance to prove his worth? Or Millwall have come in with a bid that is just too tempting?

riverroyal be a shame if this is true . . .

How so? Unless you are James Henry, the one person who believed you were skillz?

If so, best of luck at Millwall

Frankly if Tim Dellor has a problem with you, you're out
- Brendan Rodgers
- James Henry
Who will be next to feel the wrath of BBC Berks!

Obviously Antonio's emergence is a factor here, but I wonder if Davies may get to stay now. After the Sig and Howard, it was Henry who could have done an attcking midfield job if needed.

ZacNaloen Lots of potential in Henry, he used to be quicker though and without that pace he doesn't quite have the trickery to get past a good full back.

Really stopped beckham didn't it

It's a shame that he's going a bit like when Davies goes. Both lots of potential and will probably both do a tyson/cox but aren't good enough yet to break into the first team but will probably be good enough for Championship level after a couple of seasons in League one.

Fat and disinterested. Just one of those kids who is the best player all the way up through the ranks and then can't get used to having to graft for it at the top level.

Good luck and all but a massive whatevas to him going.

agreed

shame he didnt do the business, as its nice to have local boys on board, but he had chances, and never really grabbed them imo.
he could well develop into a player at that level with some game time

Well he'll get his chance at Championship level now, so he could quickly prove us wrong. Decent move for him really. Thought he looked like he could be a decent player, played very well Birmingham away, impressed at Stoke in the league cup and generally he did well wherever he went on loan. Best of luck to him.

I have a feeling Milwall must've offered us a fairly good deal, as I don't think we'd have taken him on tour if we were just going to sell him off.

I think you'll see young Taylor as the back-up to that position. BM seems to favour him above Davies right now.

thats a point, though BMcD may try him at Chief Scout before giving that lad a chance in his chosen position!

I guess maybe the next generation of Antonio/Taylor have caught up with the more expensive and sellable Davies/Henry generation before they made the first team. Lets hope these two are ready - remember Davies v Chelsea and Cox v Lyons...

Another move that seems best all round - for him, us and Millwall.

Still surprised that he went off to Slovenia, but I suppose this must be a new bid.

Or what BMcD witnessed on tour convinced him that JH had no future with the club.

Beckham didn't need to get past the full back.

Good luck & hope it works out for him. Did seem like his belief in his abilities was greater than he was able to demonstrate but it's always a shame when someone who's worked their way through the ranks isn't able to make a firm place in the first team.
