Royal Lady
RobRoyale If I end up at a game sitting in front of someone who wants to blow a vuvuzela throughout, do you think the stewards/club will alow me to move seats? Or will I be forced to sit in front of that idiot, risking (potentially) permanent damage to my hearing?

I reckon the club will ban them soon, in line with a fair few others.

Fingers crossed!

I think, even if the club doesn't ban them, people will get so pissed off by them eventually they wont be heard.

Leeds have now banned them. Probably the first time I have agreed with Chairman Ken Bates, quote "They are a dreadful noise and frankly we can do without them".

Unfortunately I understand from customer services that Reading have no plans to ban them at present.

Bates was talking about Reading fans visiting Elland Road.

It's a total non-issue IMHO. How many people would actually bring them to a game? Everyone will have forgotten about them in a month's time.

I'm fairly sure Reading customer services have more important issues to deal with, like how can a fan from Bracknell possibly get to Reading

Actually he's saying what people have thought about him for years.Full of hot air, everything he says is a dreadful noise and everyone in football could do without him.

almost guarantee Reading won't ban them, in fact they'll paint them blue and white put an RFC badge sticker on them and flog them for £3 from the Megastore.

Nah, they'll decide not to, some chancer from Tadley will roll up for the Wolves game with a load and flog them down by B&Q and Royal Blue will blow a fuse because RFC missed out on an opportunity....

Anyone using one of these devices within the hallowed precincts of the Upper West will require an emergency rectal vuvuzelectomy after the match. We like it nice and quiet up there, so that we can hear the chants from Y26 clearly. Thank you for your consideration.

I'm thinking of introducing the kazoozoozela to the match-day experience.

Who's with me?
