Good luck JH, I reckon the stuff re chelsea went to his head, never really seemed ready to make it at RFC, cleanish shett at Millwall, tho a few of theirs reckon he can vanish in games, tho it is what wingers do.

Did he not swear at the Millwall fans when they got in his back in one game? I remember there being a bit of outcry from the Bermondsey Boys

4 wingers is what we need and 4 is what we have now; Kebe, Antonio, Muffin and Canoe. Personally from what I've seen they all look better than Henry (but that's not to say Henry wasn't good as well)!

Next up we have to sort out our lack of centre backs and could do with swapping some of our striking options somewhere....

Personally I think it's a shame. As other people have said not breezing past full backs has hardly hindered Beckham. When we played Peterborough he put in three or four very good crosses, which is more than HRK managed in a whole season (Can someone please explain why the guy is so highly rated?) and in terms of crossing offered a different proposition to the other wingers.

It is probably best for both parties though I am worried that our back-up to Jobi and Jimmy is Kanu and the raw Antonio.

He can go past a full back we have two or three better wingers who can do that much better than him, his crossing was and still is woeful and he rarely if ever beats the first man. As I said Henry's move is probably best for him and the club but the same could easily apply to Kanu.

Am I in the minority in not giving a hoot what happens to Henry or any other player once they leave us? I have no great desire to see him have a great season at Millwall, why should we care?

Will those supporters think the same if he turns it on against us and plays far better for them then he ever did for us?

plus ive spent years hoping these players will come good, so i have a very tiny emotional investment in them

At the end of the day there wasn't room for all 3 of Antonio, HRK and Henry. Personally I'm quite glad it's Henry who McD has decided to get rid of, HRK has probably been our best player in pre-season thus far, and Antonio has the raw talent to make a big impact. Henry has a decent right foot, but his lack of pace is going to hold him back.

Assuming we got a decent amount for him I'd say this is a good move for all concerned.

We also have Bignall waiting in the wings.

It'd only have been a couple of hundred grand - £350k tops - so it was never going to break the bank.

Jack Whitham scored a hat-trick for Liverpool before we signed him in the 70's. They were the only goals he ever scored for them. I'm not saying that JH is a one game wonder, but it's too early to comment on how good or otherwise he'll be.

Seems to have gone past both the Brizzle and Hull left backs quite easily in the last 2 weeks.
