2-1 to Pompey we never seem to do well there.

4-1 to the pikeys. Defensively we are a shambles.

Well great response from royal fans with the ticket sales. Sadly we will be done over, not sure this defence will keep out Portsmouth.

Despite what some do say they have a decent team and can rinse us.

Shouldn't blame the defence too much, maybe our forwards could trying oxf*rd scoring more often, might reduce the pressure on them a tad.

The best outcome would be for Pearce to get injured. Then the daft old coot will have to allow BMcD to get someone in.

Will he give the go ahead for us to sign someone should Pearce get injured!? Think he'll expect Brian to deal with it.

Could get worse yet and to be honest I don't think Brian is totally happy with what he's got.

Mike Hunt Portsmouth 2 - 0 Reading.

Pearce gets Red Carded, Rasiak goes to Centreback with Brynn.

Pearce is so fu cking slow, he will still be walking off when the coach leaves.

Perhaps we can buy some Torquay breeze blocks. They seem to be more mobile than Pearce.

I can't see past a 2-0 to everyone's favourite 1/2p in the pound paying south coast car tax dodgers.

Several badly tar-maced front drives and a sprig of lucky heather should edge it over dodgy sportswear and delusions of grandeur.

Going for a 3-0 defeat here too. Players back from Internationals will be tired, the Pompey Chimes will rise from Fratton.

In 2005/06 a disappointing opening home loss was followed by a 2-0 win on the South Coast in our first away game.

So:

Pompey 1 Reading 1.

I think we'll beat the cheating scum...

Pompey manager Steve Cotterill "Rangers' offer is irrelevant because he's not somebody we want to sell."
"We're trying to build a team around our better players - and that includes Tommy Smith.
"We're not in the dire financial straits that everyone thinks we are.

He should be sold to pay back us, the tax payer!
Administrators should not be playing championship manager - they should be selling assets and trying to rebuild the business.

they can only afford to pay 20p in the £1 as they're hanging on to a 1.8m player other Championship clubs could ill afford.
