Hard one to call.

If they play like first 20 mins Vs Leeds (prob unlikely as they are away) we've had it with our defence.

They are very much a confidence side - I think if we score early we will win this.

Forest are a decent side with some good players and an excellent manager and so their slow start to the season concerns me in the context of Saturday's game because someone will take a beating by them very soon. They started last season slowly too, so what better opportunity to kick-start their season than a game against a side with worryingly few defensive options and such little quality up front?

Reading 0-2 Nottingham Forest.

Not forgetting the fact that a large majority of teams due a win tend to get it against us

They totally dominated v Leeds - I think they will play us off the park in the first half and go in good value for a 2-0 HT lead.

Kebe will break from kick off and cross to Long to pull one back on 45 mins and Bertrand will then panick on 46 mins and score an own goal. A late Church tap in after putting his 1 on 1 finish at the keeper will seal the 3-2.

Forest have drawn 1 and lost 7 of their last 8 I believe (ok over the course of two seasons) - but if we can get our noses in front, we'll win.

Reading 2 Forest 1.

brendywendy its not about assigning random numbers to your favourite players, this is a straight up prediction, with goal numbers from a dream i had.

Spooky, I had the exact same dream. Nailed on 38-0 it is.

Surprised how downbeat some posters are. The defence is weaker than it was during the second half of last season but midfield and attack are as strong so I can still see us scoring goals. We scored pretty much as many goals and Newcastle and WBA in the second-half of last season so the goals are there.

Haven't seen anywhere else to put this but how about this for a team: (I know it won't happen but fun to speculate)

-----------------Federici------------------
-McAnuff--Griffin---Mills----Williams---
-Kebe----Karacan---Howard---Sigurdsson
------------Hunt---Church----------------

I think that has a bit of everything
