anything less than 6 goals and will have been a disappointment.

First early round home CC cup game I will have missed for about 7 years, keeping my £10 in my pocket this time, especially after Torquay boredom

You would think so, as he's very close to his full return.

What about this as a possible team?

Hamer
Kelly, Pearce, M Mills, Jake Taylor
HRK, Howard, Karacan, Antonio
Hunt, Church

Subs Locke, Williams, Gunn, Kebe, Bignall, Obita, Davies

If we go with that. I'll take 3-0.

Alterntaively, stick to 451 with Taylor in the Sig role and play Hunt and Church for half each

That was the score the first time I saw Reading play the Cobblers in 1979! That game is hidden in the vaults of what was Southern TV. A repeat would be nice but settle for 2-0

it will be appalling, we will be 1-0 with a minute of the 90 to go

we will pump a him ball into the penalty box and their defender and keeper will have a serious misunderstanding, the defender heading it beyond the keeper for us to equalise.

Northampton will kick off as we eneter injury time and we begin to realise we will have to suffer another 30 minutes of this guff

But we shouldn't have worried, Northampton run up the park from the kick off and score before the ref blows for full time.

1-2

3-2 Reading. I hope BMc will field a 'younger' side and keep the main team fit for Saturday. (We're usually poo on telly, so no injuries would be a bonus).

I went to thast as well, as I recall, Richie Bowman ran the show and scored the 4th or 5th with an absolute belter from about 25 yards ? It was def.on Southern TV, me and my bro spotted on the pitch after half-hearted celebratory pitch invasion ! Happy days in the old 4th division !

Well, six goals as you requested, so you must be happy...
