Like everybody else I am very disappointed to see our star player leave meaning that we are left with Jobi,Kebe and (at a push)Mills as players that are of upper Championship standard-the rest are IMHO very run-of-the-mill.
It feels today a bit like when our then best player,Simon Osborn,went to QPR and we got in return some sizeable dosh plus that useless specimen,Michael Meaker.

I would like to think that our manager and director of football have got players already lined up as this transfer can be no great surprise.
Please don't let us get any loan players unless there is a real chance of signing them in a year's time otherwise we are not building anything.

As Gylfi really didn't play in midfield I hope we are looking at another striker (Fryatt would do) to play up front with one of our midgets although personally I don't rate any of those 3 (make it 4 midgets if you include Bignall) however it would be an attempt to build a team again and not just survive.
The extra centre-back is also a must and if either of the wingers go I would prefer us to go for somebody like Forte of Scunthorpe rather than rely on HRK and Antonio.

Usually in well-run businesses there is a response when big deals are involved,either to deny a significant rumour or quash it,but so far none of the many minions that the club employs seems to have said anything.
Not long to go until the window closes but I really do hope that we don't get youngsters from Chelsea or Arsenal that we don't have a hope in hell of signing-it does us no good in the longer term.

We wont sign anyone. Anyone we sign will be for free, and a youngster. No chance of Fryatt.

Not surprised in the slightest, but I can't explain how disappointed I am. Where is this club going? It was sideways, now it seems it's backwards. Instead of building a team around quality players like Sigurdsson, we're cashing in at every opportunity.
