If Siggy goes most of the money will not be reinvested in the squad.
Ambitious club my arse.

Heard a cheeky rumour on another board that hammond & Co. were trying to get gylfi back on loan for the rest of the season, with the boiled cabbage eating bastads seeming to be ok with him getting some more experience, but preferably in a german league to get used to the style of play though. So basically fack knows all round.

So to recap:

We have accepted bid/their bid has activated release clause.

Has Gylfi actually had medical? (which would mean he wants to go and he has agreed personal terms)

nev monkey
Smoking Kills Dancing Doe
2 world wars, 1 world cup We await quality signings.

Or we ask Madejski to leave and have a chairman who cares take his place.

It's not that he doesn't care. He has no money after making a series of shocking investments since selling auto trader. Station Hill and the Galapagos hotel being at the top of it.

He can't afford to own a football club. One of us could afford to invest as much as he can. Nothing. But of course he is desperate to get as much money for the club as he can, as he has very few sellable assets.

If that's the case then the club is truly up sheet creek without a paddle

You mean you didn't know that already?

I thought we didn't want to be in the Premier League Because it's greedy, corrupt and full of primma donnas.

If Siggy does go tomorow the its going to say everything about our lack of ambition. Any half-decent player at the club will then be looking to move on as well. This is all very disappointing but not particularly surprising.

working class hero
If you read the report on the official Reading fc site, it says that STAR don't like these meetings to be reported on

STAR were asked by the Club to restrict their own reporting of fora - and to ask the fans to limit reporting..... so this is sophistry of the first water! And why STAR agreed to be censored is puzzling...

It is true that the once the club asked us not to issue notes of the meeting but for much longer it has always been the policy of STAR that the forum is no press so that the manager can be more open.

STAR agreed on that occasion to ask members not to talk about the forum for a particular reason but that is the one and only time the request has been made as you would know if you came to them all. Certainly last Thursday no such request was made and in fact the boot was on the other foot as we told the RFC employee we did not want any of the questions and answers on the website hence the video with no sound on the website, so the website is correct in saying it is STAR not wanting the forum reported.
